Get out of the way? They are doing their best to get "in the way" as much as possible because they believe that, in spite of the economic woes of the postal service, the overt failure of Solyndra, and the lack of accountability( which ultimately led to deaths) at the VA, that they know more about how to run businesses efficiently.

NBC’s Bias Becomes Embarrassingly Obvious...

Well, haven't we known all along that my intellect is sub par? Why don't you humor the less intelligent( thus displaying that prideful "tolerance") and simply answer the question rather than avoiding it? If they don't watch cable news, who are the other providers of news( other than cable news) that "provide unbiased" news? One more thing- with televisions in nearly every home these days, I think both of us can reasonably conclude that most everyone, to some extent, is a consumer of cable television. -

Am I understanding you correctly ? Are you suggesting that cable news is biased but network news is not? I hope you aren't serious -
Dove, do you think racism was involved when TS got no consideration for the Ozen job when he had, BY FAR, the superior credentials.?

Westend, you mentioned the possibility that libs are "smart enough " to avoid biased news. Ok, just tell me where they are obtaining their "unbiased" news? -
Good example of many existing policies that actually discourage folks from working or pursuing better work. They think they cant afford to do so because of the lost benefits. There is something wrong with that approach.
-
Dove- since we believe so strongly in diversity, I want to give you an example of racism from my viewpoint that I considered blatant. And it is an area with which you are particularly conversant. My personal opinion is that there was considerable racism involved when Ozen High School received an application from one of the all time great Texas High School basketball coaches ( whose initials are TS). He was granted a very short interview ( during which, a couple of the interviewers did cross word puzzles) and the interviewee NEVER heard from them again. I wonder why? Was it his basketball credentials? Wouldnt it be interesting to compare his credentials against those hired?
-
Thank you- No need to disagree. Neither example (neither, being the key word) is demonstrative of racism. Am I understanding you correctly?

Please give me the link for that distortion. I would like to see it and then discuss with you whether or not you believe this type of distortion is a common practice. If we conclude that it is, I also will want you to tell me why said distortions are the exclusive property of Fox News and nobody else. -

Sorry Dove, but you are unqualified to make the judgement about where the liberals get their news and how they digest it. Pretty big world out there and you are not that well informed -
Sorry, but my question falls DIRECTLY under the name of the thread. Would you care to answer the question?
-
Dove, since you are the race card police, I would like to get an answer to a question posed previously but never answered. If it is racist to oppose everything the President says or does, is it also racist to support, unconditionally, the President in everything he says or does?
-
How dare you say that? You must be a greedy capitalist pig who has no compassion for the little guy, the one our President is watching out for. You must be one of those who believes that companies are created to make a profit rather than giving all to their employees. You must be one of those who believes that companies should try to generate excess capital and invest it in more plants and more people instead of dividing it up amongst the deserving employees who take all of the risk in your business.

You may be right, Westend. But, then we must also conclude the same applies to the voters in the Presidential election. I can provide you with a number of outright lies expressed the the Commander in Chief. Could you give me two or three that Fox news reported? -

It suggests that their news is more credible than that of anyone else. -
That is a big issue. There are those who believe every difficulty and every hardship encountered by some is always, without a doubt, a product of racism. I watched one individual, in a very subtle manner, try to suggest that the criminal acts that have taken place in BISD are the products of racism.

According to anyone who has the brains to look up the debt in 2008 vs the debt now. If you can research and tell us all that happened during the Reagan years, it should be real easy to look at the debt levels. Stop challenging it. Google cant refute it. Thinkprogress.org cant refute it. You cant refute it. Find another topic. This one is NO CONTEST.

And Fox News continues to be the HANDS-DOWN ratins winner across the board in cable news. The network often posts better ratings than CNN AND MSNBC COMBINED. -
And who is the original race card alertist?

This is another positive step toward improving the cancer of income inequality. The gap between the minimum wage earner and corporate CEOs has been lessened. This will make the Seattle economy more robust and vibrant and more companies will move there when they find out they must pay higher costs than in other cities. ( although some of the more sophisticated companies may wait until Seattle raises its tax rate)This country is moving FORWARD!!!!!!

The National Debt is 70% higher than it was when Bush left office. Good luck spinning that to something favorable. You can spend your next 6 months on google and consult progress.org all you want, but you cant change the ABSOLUTE UNEQUIVOCAL FACT that our national debt has never been anywhere close to this high.

Yes, Dove, what is the true issue?
-
Yes, he has really made a fool of himself. He has the best state economy in the country. We cant tolerate things like that. Additionally, to appraise someones capability of being President based on ones inability to remember names of specific government agencies is about as ignorant as believing community organizing skills qualify one to be President.
