  1. Noticed that the judge in this case was an African American
  2. I was referring to the word that describes a skin color as red.
  3. Translation:  From the party that refuses to promise unlimited free stuff
  4. SIlver spoon life is very much a relative term.  Whatever my life is, I can assure you that I did it myself.
  5. The ULTIMATE HYPOCRISY is for a Democrat to lecture a Republican on wasted taxpayer dollars.
  6. I don't care how you frame it.  Most everything that the government gets involved in (other than essential services) is an unmitigated disaster.
  7. No, I dont know everything about Benghazi but as an American citizen, don't you think I am entitled to know?
  8. No worse than you would feel if the called them the Houston _______ .  Note the political correctness.  Isnt it interesting that you can use a racially derogatory term and it is seemingly alright but if I had filled in the blanks, I would be crucified, fired from my job and sent to "sensitivity training"
  9. First thing that comes to mind is that it is a current event and not something from the past.
  10. Yes it is and that is very scary.  Are you disturbed at all by the number of people who have died waiting to be seen at the VA?  What makes you think HCA will be any different?
  11. I personally dont know enough about the case ( and neither do you or bullets) to make that determination.  Wouldnt it be better if those elected to represent us made that decision?
  12. Dove, based upon what you have heard and know about this case, do you believe the defendant did anything wrong?
  13.     And a term describing the color of ones skin is harmful?
  14. Benghazi troubles me greatly and I do not believe we have all the answers.  Apparently you believe otherwise.  I believe getting to the bottom of the Benghazi issue is as important as you believe supporting gay marriage is.  I also dont view certain things, ( as you apparently do) as necessarily marginal, particularly if it is portrayed as something that benefits us when, in actuality, it is a small, seemingly insignificant, removal of  some freedom that we enjoy in this country.  I wonder, just wonder, if the insignificant invasions of freedom are permitted/tolerated, does that invite/encourage more "significant" invasions?
  15. You and I recently discussed whether or not the Pro Football team in Washington should have to change its name.  You felt as though it would be the appropriate thing to do because some Indians found the name offensive.  Could I get your take on this situation, please? I am a Christian and I( confident there are plenty of Christians who might feel the same) am "offended" that the New Orleans franchise calls it team the "Saints".  These players are out trying to hurt people on a daily basis and put winning above everything else.  Both of these characteristics run counter to the description and intent of a Saint.  Is it time to demand that they change their name as well?
  16. They investigated Mr. Clinton on the Monica Lewinsky "circumstances" several times before they got to the bottom of it.   AKA " I DID NOT have sex with that woman.  Also, it took a while to catch Nixon who said " I am NOT a crook".   The problem with many of the "investigations" is that those doing the investigating are too closely tied to those being investigated.
  17. It's not his fault.  He just found out about it in the newspapers like the rest of us.  He will make sure there is an investigation and that someone will be held accountable!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. What is taking place with the VA right now is a very good indicator of what will happen with Obamacare.  An ineffective and inefficient government ( with accountability to nobody) trying to run a business that it cant handle.
  19. Very salient point.  If Mr. Christie is guilty of this accusation, it is certainly a bigger crime than what happened in Benghazi.
  20. Very POWERFUL and SIGNIFICANT karma.
  21. It is a very sad commentary on our society when an upstanding and outstanding reporter such as Martin Bashir loses his job on MSNBC for a realtively insignificant "speaking gaffe" and a monster such as Mr. Jarret is allowed to keep his.  We need more equity and fairness in broadcasting.  More regulation and oversight by a competent, efficient, and productive government ( such as we have now) is what is needed.  OH YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!  FORWARD!!!!!
  22. In any event, this certainly is a major crisis and extremely newsworthy as Mr. Jarrett is probably the first major network employee to ever be intoxicated.  Big Girl, will you be demanding that Fox fire Mr. Jarrett for this type of conduct?
