  1. I think they are a good idea but they only reflect the current moment. I had an antibody test done last Friday and got my results today. Results suggest I have had the virus and now have some degree of immunity. But, a close friend who is a worldwide medical director for a major corporation said this to me when I asked for an opinion on the test: " these are all brand new test and there is not a lot of data yet regarding accuracy and duration of immunity. This particular test did not have FDA approval which does not mean its wrong but there is much less confidence that it is correct. It does appear to be superior to some of the ones I have seen coming out of China ( by the way, I have a couple of medical conditions that are considered hazardous when the virus is involved)
  2. If you get tested today and test negative, what assurance do you have that tomorrow you will not have contracted the virus?
  3. I will try once more hoping you will answer instead of avoiding. What is being done in South Carolina and do you approve? Additionally, do you believe that it is better to let individual states make the decisions rather than having a national policy? ( If you don't want to answer the questions, just ignore rather than sending the conversation in another direction)
  4. The fact that you live in South Carolina precludes an opinion on Texas? Ok What are they doing in South Carolina and do you approve?
  5. Lawman, do you believe that Governor Abbots approach to reopening the state of Texas is prudent?
  6. She offered an explanation later stating that she was not having them done but rather soaking them in a solution to prevent some type of infection.
  7. If you are referring to stock market correction, absolutely not. This is a case where the entire economy was forced to shut down. Never happened before. This was done to try and stave off thousands of bankruptcies and 25% unemployment. The combination of those two could do considerably more harm than the debt that will be incurred trying to avoid a depression (JMO)
  8. When I listened to Mnuchin, I got the impression that they knew there would be some funds get into hands that didnt need them, but, for the sake of expeditious handling, the fewer the restrictions, the quicker the funds could reach their ultimate destination. I am assuming his theory was that funds going to some who didnt need it was less harmful than a bureaucratic procedure that would delay distribution by 4 to 6 weeks. The need for relief was/is immediate. Regardless of who has them, the insertion of these funds into the economy will be helpful
  9. Read the article below regarding Santa Clara County as per Stanford research. It essentially says that there are a lot more cases of the virus than what has been reported. If you combine that with the fact that many deaths attributed to the virus were not caused by the virus, you get a vastly exaggerated death rate. [Hidden Content]
  10. How old were they and did they have an serious underlying medical conditions?
  11. Earlier this week, "models" projected 3000 corona virus deaths in Texas. That has now been revised to 900. From Sept 29 of 2019 through January 9 of 2020, there were1126 flu deaths in Texas., The flu deaths are from the Texas dept of state health services
  12. Kind of- however, those who utter libtards, demoncrats, etc do not take their ball and go home
  13. translation- those who do not agree with me and/or embrace my viewpoint are dunderheads
  14. Perhaps introspection is in order? Maybe you didnt do a good enough job of making your case? I know, I know, the left is never guilty of that and is intellectually superior ( that attitude has gotten them to where they are today) But I can certainly understand your decision to depart. This will give you more time to think about what statues should be taken down and allow you additional time to spend on Thinkprogress.org
  15. My memory is very attuned to the activities of the "predecessor", the "associates", and the now banished "very stable enlightened one"šŸ˜ƒ
  16. His predecessor waited until 1000 Americans died before declaring a national emergency. ( incidentally, his predecessor was playing golf on the day he declared the national emergency regarding h-1N-1
  17. He started by stopping all flights to and from China and, at the same time, being called a xenophobe for an unnecessary action by Biden. Isnt it convenient that you have no memory of that at all?
  18. Your assumption is NOT false. No need to be corrected.
