  1.   It would appear as though getting rid of people now is too little too late.  It would also appear is that nobody would have been "gotten rid of" if some larger powers had not intervened.
  2. There are many who believe that the markets should determine what pay is fair rather than Mr. Obama.
  3. Since you are apparently a BISD "insider" did you know that this type of stuff would be coming to light?
  4. Do you believe that Dr. Thomas is not tied to this in any way?
  5. But their intentions are soooo good. ( plus this is supposed to get the shape of the economy and Obamacare off of the average Joes mind)
  6. Well, it shouldnt be too much longer before we find out just how many are involved.
  7. Dove- do you still believe that this is just a witch hunt?
  8. I am no more qualified to be PResident than you are. If you are saying that getting elected means one is qualified and no other criteria are important, we will just have to disagree.
  9. Bullets- do you remember the guy who wanted to marry an animal? ( we discussed it recently) If he decided to marry the animal and was already teaching in a local school, would your only concern be whether or not he was doing a good job?
  10. No, the birther issue is not important to me. However, I will make the decision whether or not I wish to comment on it.
  11. Have no idea where he was born and it is irrelevant to me. I don't care for Obama for the same reason I have always not cared for him- He is an ideologue who was vastly underqualified when he took office.
  12. Me too- I can then watch all of those who said the birth issue was a non issue backtrack as well
  13. Fox should be severely reprimanded and forced to give up its broadcast license for an obvious crime. This is 100 times as serious as what Martin Bashir did on CNN
  14. Yes, but the difference between Mr. Gore and those evil fat cat republicans is how they came to be wealthy.  Selling to Al Jazeera was integrity at its finest.
  15. Just about any entity (that has an accountability factor) can manage things better than the Federal Government.
  16. Its easy to assign somebody a label, such as " radical right" but it seems to be difficult to say what one says/does to qualify for that label.  Would you consider the current President to be "radical left"?
  17. Bullets, sure the environment needs to be regulated.  Do you HONESTLY consider this proposal to be "moderate" regulation?
  18. Yes, there are liars everywhere.  I once again suggest that BISD has legitimate problems that need to be dealt with regardless of who gets prosecuted.  The "lying risk" you mention is possible in every legal action taken anywhere by anybody.  At the same time, the problem has to be dealt with and should not be ignored because of the possibility that someone might lie.  Were you as concerned with innocent people being harmed in the Enron case as you are with the BISD case?
  19. 100 was your number, not mine.  The FBI doesnt do what they have done without fairly good evidence something is afoul.  But I do understand your concern about possible lying .  That usually doesnt, in the end, hold much credibility aka Crystal Mangum and Tawana Brawley.
  20. Yes, please elucidate..
  21. And what makes you believe that this is a witch hunt environment?
  22. So you are suggesting that all of the FBI investigation/findings were based upon lies?
  23. Either one will work. All they have to do is promise more free stuff than the opponent and they win.
  24. LOL LOL LOL I am not talking about the political organization. The point was not about avoiding taxes but rather the abuse of power by the government. I repeat my question ( which you have ignored) So you see nothing odd about the variety of federal agencies who suddenly needed detailed information from an heretofore "uninvestigated" individual? If we are going to talk about tax avoidance, can we include Charley Rangel, Tom Daschle,Hilda Solis, and Tim Geitner. These are but a few of those who championed "shared sacrifice"
