I have no illusions about the game against Central on Friday. They are ranked number one in the area and rightfully so. At the same time, I don't believe that they can take HJ lightly as some have done.
Nash, I can't help it if their coach put his players in positions I thought otherwise. But really, you should give me some credit for yall victory ;)
ANd the basis for that "credit" would be? -
I think we all know that there is not a single "right" answer to conditioning programs. If you use a method that is successful, you are not about to depart from it because somebody else advocates something that SEEMS more sophisticated or has more intellectual appeal. At the high school level, I would be equally if not more concerned with the mental conditioning as opposed to the physical. -
Haven't seen the magazine but will be interesting to read about the local schools and some of its players. WEDNESDAY, NOV 23rd: Da Magazines are now available at Barnes & Noble's in Deer Brook Mall and Pearland (across from BJ's). Be sure to check the list of locations on the home page. Copies will be delivered to Beaumont's Parkdale Mall TODAY 2pm, and Clear Lake location should be stocked by 7pm.
Will those magazines be arriving in Sour Lake today also or does Sour Lake have to wait until 2015? -

Special congrats to Mr. Bosha who exercised a lot of patience and showed much maturity for a sophomore by NEVER forcing a shot or pass. Every decision he made was a good one and he was quite productive in the second half of the game. Also don't remember him having a single turnover which, in itself, has some meaningful point value.
He played a conservative game ;)
Yes, he did and the results were very impressive. This happens at alot of schools across the nation. Parents send their kids to schools that are gonna be more helpful in allowing them to be seen by college coaches (athletic reasons). HF....no basketball history OZEN.....state championship....long playoff runs....sends players to colleges/nba Come on be honest.....What looks more inviting?
Okay! Let me get something straight right now and clear some things up. And this may not come out sounding cool to some of you. [Edited} LOL! wHEW! Amazing! I deleted several points I was going to make.
Spoken like a true repub. Just spinning and spewing ;)
Spinning and spewing by a true Repub? Why do you think I said anything that wasn"t totally accurate? When I offered that opinion to the staff, they agreed wholeheartedly. But I guess I could, instead offer a true Democrat interpretation: Mr. Bosha played a decent game but did not share the ball enough with those who, because of his greediness, did not have an equal opportunity to do well. The reason he had no turnovers was because he heartlessly kept the ball himself with no regard for his teammates. The Hardin County Representative will introduce legislation that will tax Mr. Bosha on his future earnings for each time he does not allow his fellow players to get their "fair share" of shots and possessions. Additionally, the HCCO( Hardin County Compassion Organization) will organize an "Occupy HJ" demonstration to voice their disapproval and concern about the disparity between Mr. Boshas shot attempts versus those of the players who never entered the game.
Disappointing result. Still a work in progress. With such a young team I expected growing pains. If Weisbrod wasn't in the post than that is a crying shame. He is one of the smoothest post players you will see at this level. Great second half HJ and best of luck on the season.
No telling how many putbacks he might have missed out on by being on the perimeter. It also takes pressure OFF the defense when they see him at the top of the key. If he were down low more, I believe that the oppositions concern with that fact would open up some more threes for teammates. -
