An obvious set up handled poorly

Silsbee always has a stable full of good athletes and is nearly always able to compete with anyone at their level and with some at levels above them.  WHile Hj  doesnt always have as many athletes, they always have a group of kids with a good basketball intellect/skills and it usually makes them capable of competing well with most.

No big problem in doing that.  Simply field a team of reasonable ability and outplay HJ when they meet.

Dove- Is it safe to assume that, while Texas4-a Roundball is down this year, it will definitely be at its finest for the two or three years after that?

Dove- will you be holding a tailgate party before the game in the Ned parking lot when Ozen travels to Nederland?  If you plan to, I think it would be nice to give all of your Nederland friends a "heads up" so that can join you for some fun and fellowship.

HJ had won state the prior year and was trying to repeat but lost in the regional finals.  Pretty sure that game was the final
