Nederland? What happened to Ozen? I bet yall thought yall was rid of me for the season, didn't you ;D
Ozen and HJ have never played each other.  However, playing Central and Nederland ought to be sufficient, don't you think?
 4. I am confused.  What significance is there regarding what a team says about another in the locker room.  Isnt the only thing that really matters are the results on the court?

That was a loaded tourney. State championship teams from Arkansas,Louisiana and OK. (if I remember right) Dont remember if the Troup-HJ game was in the finals or not...I have slept sinse then. But that was one of the best games that I have seen.....shot at the buzzer won the game. Cant remember who won.....any you HJ guys recall the game?.....I think Buna was in the tourney also.
I think a kid from Troup(Greg Austin beat out a WOS player(Myers) in the slam dunk contest. Anyone remember if this is right?
A few years ago?  I think it was 1992.  Troup won the game.  HJ hit a three pointer at the buzzer but was waived off by the ref (If i had known then what I know now about the Gestapo, I would have suspected foul play)
I'm just saying: Nederland is polled in 3rd spot on most polls. Somebody must know something ;)
Yes, we know we have NO starters coming back. Young guns will step up this year and open up some eyes!!
No starters return, but Weisbrod and English played as much as the starters. Weisbrod started a few games last year, and English started about 10-12 games. Anyone who watched these kids play last season (and this summer) know that Nederland will be tough again this year to beat. Their 1st game will be a great measuring stick w/ST. Pius coming to town. Another good match up will be the Monday before Thanksgiving at HJ.
Ok.  That answered my question about English.  I  already know that Weisbrod will be a force.
I honestly believe that Weisbrod is likely to be the best post player in the area this year, regardless of classification
Linda Wall, a conservative independent Virginia candidate for the House of Delegates, admitted on Wednesday that she had an affair with a female student as a junior high gym teacher in the early 1970. Just another example of how hypocritical the Rep party is.  Republican candidate Matt Fariss was named in a 2002 emergency protective order against a local woman, and was convicted in separate incidents for holding a concealed weapon and drunk driving
1970?    Rod Blagojevich, John Edwards, Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Elliot Spitzer and Anthony Weiner will all tell you that this kind of stuff is acceptable.
... and if you are talking about gasoline prices, the Democrats repeatedly (and still in this forum) blame Bush for high gas prices but 3 years into Obama's term seem to think that it is just the market that controls it.
Surely you are not surprised at that.
 22.

People are out of work and hurting. Even the ones that do work are paying more for essentials like food. Gas prices remain high after promises to get them down. A few days of good stocks or other gains won't help unless there is a corresponding large drop in unemployment and communities not being on the verge of bankruptcy. The American economy will always turn around no matter who is in office as long as we keep the free enterprise system.
Double Speak, anyone?
WHy doublespeak inference?  Gasoline prices are lower than recently but substantially higher than when Pres took office.  I also agree with his comment on the economy.  The economy is, always has been, and always will be cyclical.  History documents this.  Some theorize that more government intervention in the economy lessens the extremes of the cycle while others feel that more government intervention exacerbates the extremes.  I personally feel that someone or something as incompetent at running businesses as the federal government can do more good by staying out of the economy and permit it to function with as little interference as possible.
 23. Dove, you and I both know that in the past few years, all of those players didnt, by chance, happen to move into the Yates school district for academic or family purposes.
 24. Think there will be several scrimmages- one at least will involve multiple teams-  trying to keep it quiet- dont want dove learning our speed secrets
