I'm broke. ;)
Broke?  That is only because you refuse to become a heartless rich Republican who spends every minute of the day trying to screw Joe Six Pack out of one thing or the other.
 2. Blue- You are saying that the debt problems are totally the product of the Republicans.  Lets assume you are correct ( even though you are not)  The Dems solution is to take on more debt to get rid of the old debt. They want to tackle the problem by compounding it.  Can you tell me just how that works, please?  It doesn't seem too logical that the solution to  overcoming alcoholism is to consume twice as much alcohol as you did in the past.  Since you get so much info from the internet, read the story about the $16 muffins (symbolic, of course, of the problems in Washington) and see if there isnt a better way to cure our monetary issues than borrowing more money and blaming it on Bush.  And if you will be honest about it, the Fed SELDOM (regardless of party) gets anything right. 4.
On paper, President Bush added a total of $5.07 trillion to the debt and President Obama will add $1.44 trillion. However, approximately $1.14 of the latter figure is as a result of President Bush’s mismanagement of the economy. In other words, the real numbers should be $6.21 trillion of additional spending by President Bush and only $0.3 trillion by President Obama. If you add in the $126 billion in savings that President Obama will make on defense spending, he will only be responsible for about $0.17 trillion of new spending, about 4% of what President Bush was responsible for. As the total national debt is around $14.7 trillion, President Bush singlehandedly created almost half of it!
Blue, I am imagining that not everybody is going to accept your numbers as the gospel
 5. What a shocking statement, Dove.
I like that last part but you said this schedule was just as weak as last year, and this years team will be better,  so nothing less than a perfect season will be acceptable ;) ;)
Ok- I will convey your thoughts/wisdom to the coaching staff
 7.
That weak schedule goes all the way through district leading to an undefeated season for the Hawks this year. Anything less would be a travesty!
Am so thrilled that you are not "setting the bar too high".  I suspect the Hawks will have their share of losses- just hope they arent pivotal ones.  I have already recommended to the staff that, when questioned about losses, they simply take the approach of the current administration and blame the former coaching staff.  After that is found unacceptable, they can say that it could have been worse.
 8. Actually, the "outcome" far exceeded the expectations( something that probably can't be said for a lot of other teams from this area).  I happen to be one of those "less enlightened" guys who sincerely believes that the coaching staff is FAR better equipped/qualified to set their playing schedules and select their line ups than anyone posting on SETXsports.  Have talked with a number of coaches who firmly believe it can be just as risky to play an overly difficult schedule as it is to play one that is deemed by some to be too easy.  I believe that ultimately, the idea is to do well in the playoffs.  In the case of HJ, I can promise you that for the last 3 years, Cleveland has played a much more difficult regular season schedule but that quite obviously has not been a determining fact in the outcome of the head to head games.
 9. Hj schedule is just as weak as last year- no illusions about success on this end.  Probably go 15-17
It's impossible to concede a position that I never held.  I have plenty of opinions but average(perhaps below average) knowledge.

 17. That could very well be the answer.
You clearly have no understanding of the Carter years.  He choked the economy to stave off inflation which had been building for many years.  Look it up.
Dont need to look it up.    You could say I have a better than average  understanding of inflation because my employment demands it.  But I understand your spin.  Its not much different than " its Bush's fault".  Its a FACT that inflation was at its worst during the Carter presidency(that is undeniable), so if what you say is true, his method in fighting inflation was as counter-productive  as Obamas effort to spur the economy.  Furthermore, the market (in this case, the election market) did not accept your theory and thus awarded Carter a one term presidency.
Yeah, the "election market"  doesn't(didn't) have the same understanding of the situation as i do.  Frankly, I didn't either at the time.  But you go right ahead and believe that popular votes are some kind of indication about the reason for performance of the economy.
Let me see if I understand you correctly.  Your understanding of the "situation" during the Carter years is superior to that of the collective wisdom of the entire voting body of this country.  Don't you think that might be overstating things just a wee tiny little bit? Yes, I will continue to believe the following undeniable fact(s) For the ten year period before Mr. Carter took office, the average annual inflation rate was 5.86% During Mr. Carters four years, the average annual inflation rate was 9.73% For the ten year period after Mr. Carter left office, the annual average inflation rate was 4.74% Mental giantry is not needed in order to draw conclusions on which approaches worked and which did not.
Yeah.  You don't need to understand what happened to know what you think happened.  Have I phrased that as you see it?
The numbers are facts whether you wish to acknowledge or not.  To nearly double the average of the prior ten years is NOT, I repeat, NOT effective management of the problem REGARDLESS of the origin of the problem.  Your contention is that I am wrong, the entire national voting population was wrong in 1980, but you are right because only you properly "understand" the aformentioned issue better?  Sorry, but I am having a hard time understanding why your conversance with this issue trumps both me and the 1980 electorate.
 25. Any "damage done by the prior administration" over an 8 year period is minimal relative to whats been done in the last 2.5 years.  All of the imcompetence, lack of financial knowledge, experience, etc is definitely the fault of Bush.
