2. Isn't that already a foregone conclusion?
 3. Graduating from Rice speaks well for him.  Some consider Rice to be the Harvard of the Southwest
 4. Dove- This would be a good opportunity to get some exposure for the 2011-2012 State Champs
 5. Dove- NOw that the coaching puzzle has been solved, are you now endorsing your prior prediction of a 2011-2012 State Title for the Longhorns?
 6.
It's amazing how I knew this a month ago ;D
Yes it is- particularly when the people who hired him did not know it then.

....some "things" have come up. hmmmm One possibility is the prospect talked to the outgoing coach and other employees and found out the amount of interference and "suggestions" from both expert parents and old "so and so".
The new coach has nothing to worry about from the parents unless my kid is cut from the team. ;D
Then you better make sure he can lift adequately.
 9. The Butler coach and the VCU coach were both assistants before getting their head jobs.  Looks to me like the fact that they didnt have prior head coaching experience didnt hinder their performance.
 10.
Hamshire-Fannett is holding a press conference Tuesday to announce they are hiring Steve Roccaforte. That is why he hasn't landed anywhere else as an asst. yet. He is ready to take this job.
NO doubt he will use his recruiting reputation to its best advantage
 11.
hmmm...interesting
I am sure they are verifying his UOS credentials before they offer a contract.
 12.
Nash, this makes me  feel threatened that I may lose my recru..... uh I mean education enhancer title...
competition is what made this country great
 13.
Isn't it really about the defenses they faced, not the teams??
A G R E E
 14.
Just read about a mock NBA draft. Jimmer is picked b4 Kemba.
Sam Bowie was drafted ahead of Michael Jordan.
 15.
No I'm showing you why Jimmer has better stats. Playing lesser competition.
I don't agree with your assessment.  If you were looking at the schedules of two teams and one of them had played North Carolina and Duke while the other had played VCU and Butler, you know very well who you would say was the tougher competition and it simply isnt factual.  Furthermore, I would be willing to bet you that Jimmer faced a lot more double and triple teams and other junk defenses than Kemba did.
 16. If you look at ALL of the stats ( instead of cherry picking) Walker is no better than Ferdette.  Saying Kemba plays "better defense" is like me saying Phil Mickelson "swings the club better" than Tiger Woods.

So you can now attend HJ and play basketball now? So, if our kid is a bench warmer we can now transfer him or her to HJ and get a starting position ???
If he is a bench warmer at a school that wins fewer games than HJ does, why would one conclude that said bench warmer would be a starter at HJ?
:D Things that make you go hmmmm?
This may shock you but this is a budget issue as opposed to an athlete issue.  Permitting students to transfer here may actually preserve some jobs that otherwise would have to have been eliminated.  Better think twice about how much you give out in that Kings Ranch Package.

 19. Pat Foster also had very little to say.  However, he was, by far, the most productive LU coach I ever saw.
 20.
And Jimmer played against mid-majors?  Really?? Kemba plays much better defense...perfect example of what I was talking about.
Speechless- you need to understand that symbolism (in the minds of some)trumps substance.  If it sounds good, say it-to heck with the truth
Interesting ;  Don Nelson was born in 1940 and Len Wilkens in 1937 and yet Len Wilkens is before your time?
 22.
1. Kemba plays much better defense. 2. Kemba played against the best teams in the country. 3. Jimmer played against mid-majors. 4. Kemba played the biggest in the biggest games. 14-0 in tournament games!
The only factual statement you made (#4) pertains to the team as opposed to Mr. Walker. AS for #2 - Included in your claim is American International, Bridgeport, Stony Brook, Vermont,, New Hampshire, Fairleigh Dickinson, Coppin State, and  Harvard.

Jimmer WAS Byu HE took them to the sweet 16 by himself, Uconn actually had more than kemba, im getting at that if BYU woulda surrounded Jimmer with more talent u would have seen a better Jimmer, I say Kemba and Jimmer are about equal but IMO Jimmer is more clutch
Kemba was pretty clutch too in his games :D And just a thing about Jimmer's numbers.. Im sure some other guys in D1 basketball could score that much per game if they shot 30+ times too
Most guys who led the nation in scoring shoot a whole bunch
Dove- Does this mean that Jimmer is able to generate his own shot?
