HJ may go to state next year. Those two studs they have coming back will be hard to handle. Silsbee will play small ball next year and may have a hard time against bigger teams.
Actually, HF will match up well with HJ this year. It will be different if HF gets the right coach to instill dicipline in the team and a will to win.
Who is it that will be matching up with Prudhomme?
Oh thats easy. We have two bigs to help out and quick guards to strip him when put it on the floor. OOPS! Too much info.
Sounds to me like out three point shooter is gonna have a lot of fun when all of those people stop Prudhomme. Will all four of those (2 bigs and 2 quick guards) going to be new people? I don't remember any of them doing much of that to him last season.

If they do have a good youth program and something goes amiss in those years(8th-9th), then that is a sad situation, especially for the kids. Hopefully they can find a solution to transition from the younger ages to HS.
Actually, HF dominates in the pre-9th grade
I think that may be due to the fact that UOS isnt as dominant at that time.
good question ;D
::) Fellas, it's all about putting the ingredients together. Thats why I said , oh wait a minute. We can select 7th, 8th and 9th graders from HF and beat Memorial's 9th grade. :o
What ingredient(s) missing from the Longhorn varsity?
Look Stevenash, Sour Lake has a population of 500 vs Silsbee with a population of 6300. Of course there will be more crime. What is Sour Lake know for? Deer Hunting? Come on man don't go there. I know more about that little town than you think I would know.
Its known as a per capita crime rate and yes, I am going there. Facts are facts and you have no ability to alter those.

Stop crying like little country babies. HJ will never win district in football and will never be a better school that Silsbee. HJ will eventually become a 2A school in the next 3 yrs according to your superintendent.
I dont care about HJ.. this thread looks stupid.. This seems like a group of 2nd graders playing "I got more marbles than you!!!"
Yes it does, and you are fully participating.

Have made you several offers with financial details included and you do not respond- don't try to imply the beating u r trying to avoid is the fault of anyone but yourself. Don't sing it bring it.
Poppabear they did, but they won! Silsbee has better football, basketball, baseball, academics, kick ball, grocery stores etc
. Santa- u need to discontinue your efforts here. If this continues, I will gladlyfurnish the crime rate comparisons and the discrepancy is far greater than any athletic encounter between the two ever.

Just shows how weak minded a few people are.........it is OK that Silsbee year in and year out has likely one of the best teams in the state and yet they have NOTHING to show for it!!!! Sucks Tiger fans, don't it!!! ;D ;D ;D
We have had our chances to win State Championships but we have fallen short every time Yeah it sucks but I feel with the athletes that Silsbee puts out that it’s only a matter of time But until that day comes we will just have settle for watching Silsbee beat HJ and winning district Championships ;D ;D Anybody from HJ ever in Olympics? I guess the answer to that was NO It’s ok HJ to only have success @ the High School level
It's not that big of a deal to not have won a state championship. Thats true of the great majority of teams. Silsbee has been in a position a number of times to win it all, but have not had the luck a team needs to make that happen. Most would give their right arm just to be in Silsbees position. My guess is that if they keep getting in the right position, it's going to happen one day.

Better play some 2A and sixman teams to prepare for a butt whipping in district. Again, cancel that program. We may not have a state crown in basketball or football but at least we dont go out each week knowing that we just going to get a good workout. It would be wise for HJ to just pull the bulbs out of the visters side of the score board and just keep score by calculator! Just saying buddy! When your team gets the score board busted on them every week, it tends to concern us.
Could someone tell me what a VISTER is?

Better yet at least make the playoffs before 2020? Ever beat WOS? Beat Silsbee?
HJ has beat Silsbee.........in fact HJ has beat them twice in the last 10 years!!! :D :D :D But this is basketball............answer the question BADSANTA!!!!!!
HF has a better chance at making a crawfish talk than winning a state crown before Silsbee.
Those chances are as remote as you taking on Sleepy/Lazeek(not to mention beating them) on the golf course

He knows this league and was technically the head coach when LU were co champs in 2008. The biggest mistake Roc made was letting him go, i talked to some former players that played here when he was here and after he left, they said that they knew there was trouble when Bubba left coz he introduced all the plays and made substitutions for Roc. I believe he is the best guy for LU. We need someone who wants to stay in Beaumont for a while and not someone who will leave after 2 yrs, and use us as a stepping stone. Wake up people!!!
There is a reason Bubba Skelton is in Miss. That's where he wants to be. Not sure being the head coach at LU would change his mind.
There is a good possibility that nobody will be here more than five years. If the coach does real well, he will use this as a stepping stone. If he does poorly, he will meet the same fate that Mr. Roccaforte did.

Both very integral to the playoff success this season of HJ. -
It might be smart not to get too excited and anticipate too much. Keep in mind that Lamar passed on both Del Harris and Tim Floyd.

;D It would appear that Gus did not lead the district in turnovers and Grayson did more than "just stand there". -
