1.
Isn't this post about 'PLAYER OF THE YEAR'? This is not about the 'Team of theYear' or 'MVP' of a team or district. There may be (as someone said) 20 players from the area who are better than any Evadale player. Doesn't mean that a player from Evadale can't be 'The Player of the Year'. I honestly don't know how 'Player of the Year' is defined. I don't know who deserves it, b/c I don't know what it means.
Good point- and I will bet that if we get real honest here, your contention applies to most of us.
 2. Maybe that individual knew you were bluffing and elected to bluff back.
 3. How could you tell I was die hard?  I thought I concealed that so well. ;D
Any alums with a winning record and winning attitude?
Seems like recently there was a HF alum from a pretty good team that was an assistant at E. Chambers.  Whatever happened to him?
Remebering 5 years ago?  I struggle with 5 minutes ago.
 8. Ain't technology grand?
And shooting a 3 pointer under-handed ;)
Just as long as it goes in.

 11. He has a great reputation as a recruiter.  Dove, I just verified that UOS is NOT employed at HJ.  That is why their kids are NOT bigger, stronger, and faster.  However, when they shoot a layup, it is usually soft enough that it is likely to drop through the net.

 13. Mr. Simmons is a personal friend of mine and I am going to try to influence him to move you over to the English Dept.  Once he sees the evidence on this board, I see no way that he can resist.
 14. Am not sure of the structure of the training for athletes there.  However I do have a close associate with whom I can check but he is headed to Central Texas today.

I said basketball not football.
I know that, but I had been conditioned to believe that in Texas, UOS is the solution to all issues.

 17. Do they make the cheerleaders lift at HF?
I don't know, I can't speak for others.... and to be honest, I can't speak for HJ. The HJ football coach/AD is the announcer at our games.  I truly think there should be pep rallies at the beginning of the season, the beginning of play-offs and certainly when they head off to state.  But that's just my opinion.
Question: If HJ was going to State in football ( :D ::) ), would HJ have pep rallies?
Is it more likely that aforementioned pep rally will be held for the HJ football team or the HF basketball team?
 20.
So there is *some* jealousy among basketball and football coaches' success?
Would that question also be pertinent in H-F?
 21. I "resemble" that remark.

 24. And you STILL have NOT given me a single example of an HJ supporter saying that they expect to be good because they were last year.
