Although Da Dove would imply he isn't supporting the area teams, it is not true.  Dove loves basketball and has a lot of fun with his comments on the board.  He just likes to stir the pot every once in a while.  I am trying to think if there is anyone else like that on this board?

I think during any other game we would have seen a defensive foul, but the referees didn't call that all night long.  Prudhomme was tripped, Bosha was tripped, and Gus went down earlier on a similar play and they were never called.  Note: the trippings were not intentional, just due to typical contact when driving the lane. [/quote] Been there?  Done that?  I have personally witnessed a situation where a superintendent assured a prospective new basketball coach that certain issues would be dealt with in order to get the coach to take the job at a football oriented school.  Said coach took the job and turned a team with a very poor losing record into a district champion the following two years and a regional semi appearance in the second year.  So, yes, change is possible
