Its pointless to discuss but WO-S woul beat the crap out of BH. Hands down. No ifs ands or buts. WO-S was the smaller school on a regular basis when we were in 4a. And we gave most teams whippings or really good games. The half your size arguments dont hold any weight on here!! There was a whole lot of smack talked before the game.Its only right that Central gets to serve as much crow as they feel,and as loud as they want too. Why people gotta be classless after they beat somebody,and let them know about it? Message to the board "Dont talk the talk If you cant walk the walk!" Central talk to them like myself and everyone on this board knows they would be talkin to you if they had won.

Truth is most fans see a really good player and think he should be D-1 talent,and most of the time thats just not the case. I can recall dominant players for WO-S who just were not D-1 talent. Ive also seen players in this area get whipped on the field several times,but because of some workout stats and god-given size they get a chance to move on to the next level. But ya better believe if a player is putting up solid stats and stands out on both sides of the ball,and the schools arent knocking down his door..........its something the scouts dont like.(And im not refering to Mosley at all, i think hes the S_ _ _!!!!!) When we heard his halftime stats at the WO-S/BC game last week the whole crowd went "WOW" all at the same time.Wherever he goes....good luck.

Formerpirate you are right "doormats" may have been a little tough. I know one thing some posters on This site overuse the term classless on a regular basis. I have seen people called classless on this site that i know are very dignified and "classy" people. I Guarantee if the shoe ever switched feet there are a whole slew of fans that would be bragging and talking a little noise. Its in our nature. We all love football on this site!! We all want our teams to win! And i for one am gonna brag when my team is good. And if you are my opponent im gonna tell u just why we are gonna whip ya. Thats not classless......thats just the love and excitement of the game coming out. Who gives a rats A_ _ what others say,or the papers say. If the community is behind a squad 100% and the coaches instill hard work and faith in them.........thats when the results start flowing buddy. I didnt make the rules.... i just play by them!!

Bottom line is that MOST posters get on here and talk a little smack once in a while. Some talk more smack than others. But the rule of thumb is"Do not talk the talk if your squad cannot walk the walk". Point Blank!!!!! Most of those schools who you are "sticking" up for have a few fans that talk a whole lot of noise about what they are going to do year in and year out.And pretty much every year they are doormats. Why doesnt everyone call Orangefields teams out? Because i very seldom have seen one of their posters talkin real unrealistic trash on here. We know they may not have the best team but the play hard,give it 100% and if they are successful they roll with it. If not they go out and try again. On top of that O field isn runnin thangs on the girls B-ball court so their confidence is much more visible on that board.(Im just using O field as an example guys). I dont necessarily care for several teams in the area,but when respect is due I give it. Everyone on here talks noise when their squad is good!! And some fans(u know who u are) talk noise even when they are terrible. Thats the fun of these sites. SCOOP get you a mustang t shirt and we will see ya Friday night. Honestly trooper if any school could pull a transfer stunt and get away with it it would not be WO-S. Do you know how quick the UIL would be investigating us for that alleged violation? There is no way this area would let us get away with recruiting or transfering kids. It does anger the fans to hear someone say this about kids each of us has seen and been around and in some cases coached over the years right here in Orange. A lot of times kidsd leave WO-S for LC-M because of the ability to get more playing time there than as a stang. But do we make a ruckus? Never. You have your opinion however ridiculus it may be Troop. All i can tell ya is get ya a nice Mustang T-shirt and join the gang. Hell maybe we can send you on some recruiting trips for us. I still remember last year listening to the game between bc/hutto and cheering for Bc.....so you owe me troop!!!!

I have seen the Massey ratings,and the coaches poll that comes out. What are some other polls around the state? I remember one that used to give spreads and predictions a few years ago,but i cannot remember the site. How much stock do you actually put into the Massey ratings? Just would like to hear some inffo from others.

I definitely would not say by far. Of course a 5A school will have more names to rattle off,but WO-S has two D-1 recievers on a team with under 30 players,and the two or three behind them are gamers. Whats Memorials record? WO-S by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please people. You can never put too much stock in how your 8-11 year olds are playing. Although i would be surprised if Nederland does not get right back on top. PN-G i really think their days of having those great teams will be few and far between now.....unless some fresh air is brought in.
