[/quote] But it's not a field of brand new coaches, it's people with coaching experience, and a good chunk of players who have played for other schools. As someone said on a different thread, it seems like the team is moving in reverse.

I think when the archived video comes out, we can hear the exact phrasing, but sitting in my comfy chair up in the inland northwest, that's the way I heard it. As far as being "obsessed with TXST-SM and Lamar, I don't think that's it. It was posted in the "Around the Southland Conference" forum, which is pretty appropriate. I could retort that some of you guys are obsessed with various FBS schools. I'm a college football fan in general, regardless of their location. I just happen to tune in more to Texas schools.

[/quote] Welcome to the SHSU complaints over the past 2 years. He's the most predictable offensive coordinator there is. I agree with giving someone else a shot. Hell, we gave the freshman Bell a shot and he's our starter now and we've won 4 in a row. This year doesn't matter (in terms of playoffs), so why not test everyone out.

Bevil had ALL kinds of time and throws into triple coverage and almost got picked off. VERY bad read trying to get a home run ball

The defense has made some good stops on USA, but the Lamar offense has really puttered throughout the game.

I'm wondering if USA watched much game tape. They seem to be passing A LOT more than I had expected them to. I was expecting a heavy does of running.

Darby Jackson misses a sack because he wanted a "highlight" tackle. Failure to wrap up is what's killing Lamar today.
