Okay,enlighten me guys.  Is the shell the deep water area north of the Causeway?  What type of rigging/ technique do you prefer on the shell.  I have little to no experience fishing on the shell, but from what I remember it is a whole different ballgame.

He no doubt deserves the Offensive award.  His impact on the game was felt every single week. 

No way should Montana be passed up for the WRS award.  He dominated 4A play this year.  The voters need to contact all the 20-4A Defensive Coordinators and ask them just how big of a deal he was in their game planning. His total yards and TDS speak volumes (on top of the fact that he was a very dominant LB on the other side of the ball).  I wish someone had his stats for yards after contact. The kid was an absolute bulldozer.  It was comical watching DBs try to knock him down.  He just kept on trucking.  His 2nd TD against Livingston this year was aruably the most impressive TD I have ever witnessed. Montana deserves the Offensive award...No Doubt!

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families.  I hope you've enjoyed the day with friends and family celebrating the birth of our savior.  I really enjoy following the post on the fishing forum and definitely appreciate picking your fishing brains for tips every now and then.  I got  back out on the water with a new boat this year and enjoyed catching more fish than I have in many years.  I look forward to an outstanding 2013 on the water.  Merry Christmas!

The first pipe on the north levee rd.  has been producing lots of solid flounder and trout.

I haven't been catching any big numbers, but I have had several trips over the last few weeks that have bagged some solid fish.  Cow Bayou and the Dupont Outfall have been pretty reliable.  I hear the reds are schooling like crazy all over the lake.

I like to fish and I really like to [u]catch[/u] fish.  I am about 50-50 on time spent with live bait vs. artificial.  I generally find that when I am fishing by myself I gravitate toward artificial.  When I have others with me, we usually use live bait.  I don't have a problem with either method.  I love to fish....Period!
