You are correct… matched up against two very powerful Lindale teams and lost a one score game to chapel hill when Coach was sent to the ER two hours before kickoff… but you won’t find a 12 year stretch in Vidor history that even closely compares

Attendance 32,098… not the crowd they were expecting…. but still a lot of butts in the seats

Previous posts this season suggested they’ll be solid again next year … and then it appears a significant drop off is coming… but we will see. That community is growing FAST

It’s been a good run…but the train will come to a screeching halt in New Caney with Chapel Hill winning by a couple scores. Maybe Lumberton proves me wrong… but I doubt it

Have you seen how little league coaches approach blocking… I’m telling you… I’ve seen guys who thought they were pretty “successful” coaching little league get a job coaching school ball… they were blown away. you really want to have fun with the hall of famers… sit them down with high school coordinators and head coaches and give them a marker and put them on a dry erase board and have them draw up coverages… it’s comical

How do you explain beating PAM in 2016 for the district championship? Vidor is literally one year removed from their last district championship and they went as the 2 seed this year… You sound like you’re related to Melon… so I’ll ask you the same question he never answered… Was it you or your son that didn’t get enough playing time that left you so bitter? Or let me guess.. you would’ve been a D1 guy but the coaches didn’t promote you enough… you sound sad and angry

I didn’t miss by much… and they almost put up 50… I just didn’t think hufffman would score as much as they did

I’ve seen both with my own eyes too… man that’s a tough one… I’m saying if they played five times Silsbee may have like a 3-2 advantage… but it could be the other way around

Oh they were really good teams… I just don’t remember them being this good in all phases of the game

How deep is the pool at Lumberton … will this be another short lived run of success like 07-08 or do they have a pipeline of talent coming up?

Vidor, LCM, and Lumberton have all had TOO many personal fouls this season from what I’ve seen

So far it’s pretty much what I expected… I know the turnovers are killing LCM, but have to tip your hat to L-town so far… this could get really ugly in the 3rd qtr if LCM doesn’t get it together also… I realize Reyes has forgotten more about clock management than I’ll ever know… but that was an odd sequence of events on that last drive of the half
