1. Sure to be a very emotional game for Vidor with the loss of one of their Srs. last night.
 2. My heart is breaking for this young man, his family, and his team.  God give strength to those who knew and loved this young man.
 3. For the most part I agree that its the defenses job to stop the other team, but I heard that Livingston decided to go for it on fourth down the other night late in the game when they were up by several touchdowns (don't remember how much, but I think it was like 30 pts.)...I'd say this is pretty classless.
 4.
31-14 Vidor.
It will be closer than that.  Central is rough this year, but this is always a great game... 28-21 Vidor
 5. Vidor-PNG will be a great game, but we have Central to worry about FIRST!
 6. Ned Vidor Livingston PNG In that order...I hope! ;D ;D
 7.

Hey 33, Did you learn that fine character trait, from playing football at Ozen.  Just wondering, I don't think everyone from Ozen feels like you.  Anyway Vidor 21 Ozen 14 final
dude just smash mouth talk com'on ;D FYI I played for vidor :o so what about my character again ;)
If that is true...I think I just figured you out ;)
 8.

I was at this game, 3, and it seems that Vidors D did a pretty good job.  Their O Kept your O off the firld and held your drive on that second to last possession and the last possession. I would like to hear your honest take on this game...  One beaumont guy to another Beaumont guy.
Com'on rob vidors decent  but one dementional! we had a off night ;)
Well, how do you explain that rollout pass that they did 4 times that yall never stopped that ultimatly, was your undoing with under 30 seconds left in the game? You couldn't cover it and they went back to it when they needed to.  All this, and their not even a passing team.  I'm not trying to poke fun, I just want you to tell what you really think and perhaps give props.
I give props. when thier needed. Not here!
Wow!  Ok, man.  I'l let it rest.  Well, I'll tell you whay I think. I think Vidor executed down the stretch and I think Ozen fell in love with the running game too early when everyone knows that their bread and butter is the passing game.  I think that Trey's decision to pass on that elusive scramble wasn't good, especially since he only had 4 yards to the first down with the sidelines there. And I think that No way is your staff not ready for a Vidor pass that late in the game and no way the kid picks up all those yards after the catch.  Sorry to say, it may be a case of out coached...
Great post!
 9.
on the vidor bandwagon  ::)  8)
I'd rather not start these threads...sounds too much like the Ltrain that had two good years then sputtered Our boys just need to keep playing ball with a purpose and taking care of business.
 10.

Was at the game. The score shouldn't have been close. Vidor took that 1950's offense and ran right at a faster bigger defense and made them like it. Really fun to watch a throwback team. Bottom line is Vidor got the most out of their kids where Ozen didn't...
;) ;) ;) ;) Every body have off nights!
and everyone has those nights where they just flat outplay their opponent and want the win more...that was Vidor last night

 13.
The key is to contain that delayed draw to #1. that is where they got most of their yardage against Vidor last night. Would show pass to drop the linebackers back and hand it off to #1. The kid is quick and will run through arm tackles. You better have 2 or 3 people hitting him. Green had negative yards last night rushing, but he has a great arm. PNG secondary better not let the receivers get behind them becouse Green can put it on a dime. jmo
Agreed, Green has a heck of an arm so you have to play great coverage.  #1 (Jones ???) is a running machine...gotta hit him hard and wrap up or he will make you pay.  It will be interesting to see how Ozen bounces back after such a tough loss.  PNG 27 Ozen 14
 14.
Since he is so infatuated with speed, I will be happy to whip up some BBQ'd Roadrunner. Yummy, got my taste buds just a watering this morning.
;D ;D ;D
 15. Vidor continues to roll...Vidor 28 LCM 14
 16. Vidor made a strong case for themself tonight against Ozen Nederland Vidor Livingston Ozen/ PNG
 17. Remind me again how SLOW Vidor is suppose to be...bahahahahahahahahahaha

 19. I don't know why Vidor would even show up for this game they are clearly out matched....... NOT
 20.
Really Though , Ozen will be way to much for SLOW Vidor  ;)
You are so right Jag  ;)
 21. Prayers going out to my second favorite team in 20-4A.  I hope ya'll win the rest of your games except for the one on Oct. 21 at "the Butch" versus those Mighty Vidor Pirates!
 22.
I was told he will make a full recovery and doesn't need a pacemaker or anything like that. Of course this is from facebook. Looks like coach will be ok.
I got a similar report by phone today,  looks like Coach is doing well and is on the long road to recovery.
 23. Please pray for Vidor's Coach Dan Welch and his family.  He suffered a heart attack on Tuesday and was scheduled to undergo surgery today.  He's a great man that loves coaching those kids.
