No doubt...it has always been tough playing in Vidor...they got lucky not having to come to Babe! Game might be a little closer! The last time we played there...the RB's grandfather had the field name after him and the RB had a heck of a game gaining 186yd on the ground! That was the game which Brandon Williams had to lead us down the field with under a minute left for the game winning score. Just thinking about that game makes me shiver! WHOA! It'll be a good one! Cowboy. remember the clock mysteriously stopped working. I promise you they gave Vidor 10 to 15 min on one of those drives inside of our red zone. We kept stopping them, behind the line of scrimmage. The refs kept rewarding them with penalties to put them back in scoring position. I tell you, I didn't think that first half would ever end. I did when They scored. I can't see myself going to V-town to witness another contraversially, lopsided officiated affair with the Pirates. Good Luck to my Jags though. In all fairness, I don't think Buna was hit near as hard as many cities in our area. I'm sure towns like Bridge City will show plenty of teamwork and overcome, but I'm not sure Friday Night Football is at the top of most of their lists right now.

I teach over in Vidor, and from what I understand All Local School Districts are handling any updated information through the Region V website. Just go to www.esc5.net, and click on your school district. If your district has posted any information it should come up. Hope this helps.

Good game tonight. Got to hang on to the ball. Score coulda, shoulda, woulda been a lot higher without all the fumbling. I'm sure the coaches will have plenty of work for the ball carriers this week. Overall I was pretty excited with what I saw. The O-line did a great job tonight of opening holes. Execution of the offensive scheme was great, but again have to hang on to the ball. Defense held there own, but the Biggio kid and a few other receivers racked up quite a few receiving yards on them. St. Thomas has a pretty impressive QB with a strong accurate arm and a lot of speed. Good Job Pirates, keep rolling.

I checked Southeast Texas Junior Football Leagues website and as it turns out there will be several opportunities for the good people of LCM and WOS to see some action between their respective communities. The league has games scheduled between the two in every division beginning with Flag and all the way up to the Sr. Division. Fear not fans, the 2008 Orange Bowl will be played many times over.
