I’ve seen both teams… and I’ll say this LCM has a BIG uphill climb to get a win over Lumberton this year… and I do believe Lumberton is every bit a top 10 team in the state… they are built for a deep playoff run. One thing I’m seeing as a major factor will be Lumberton dominating the line of scrimmage both ways. another factor is LCM showed a lack of discipline… I predict some frustrated LCM defenders Good luck to both teams… but rain or shine I’m sticking to my earlier prediction. Lumberton by two scores… they are different this year playing solid ball all around… LCM has been unable to build any consistency… a two score win prediction for Lumberton may be conservative

They only announce who the homecoming court is before the game… after the Livingston band performance they have a brief ceremony at halftime to crown the Queen, as soon as the Queen exits the field the lights go out and the band does their thing!!!!

The question remains… was it you or your kid that didn’t get enough playing time… the hurt sure seems to linger

… this is NOT the Lumberton you’re familiar with… outside of #7 for LCM I just didn’t see much of any offensive execution last week… Lumberton was hitting on all cylinders on both sides of the ball tonight… ill have to think about my prediction but right now I’m saying Lumberton by 14

Lol… I’m not in to betting the games… but I just see Lumberton as a much more well rounded team with multiple weapons… plenty of big guys and a stout defense. Anything’s possible… but I don’t see LCM winning it

Yes they were… I’ll take ‘22 over both those teams. Just my opinion… hope this fan base handles success better than the L-Train of 07… I don’t think this board could handle that again… 😂

Yeah… not sure what to think of Livingston based off of their last two games. Based on what I’ve seen the last two weeks Lumberton should be fine against LCM.

Been watching southeast Texas football for a LONG time… I’ve never seen a better Lumberton team… they have the whole package over there. Congrats and good luck the rest of the way! My Pirates will lick their wounds and Coach will have them ready for Livingston! Everyone say a prayer for #4 tonight!

Well… guess Vidor should just sit this one out… no chance at all. L-train already on to week 3 of district. Lumberton looks to use this game to pad their stats. 😂

I think the head to head has LCM leading Vidor by about two wins… I guess this website is about 20 years old and it’s probably been that long since LCM won 😂 … so I don’t think anyone is acting like we won state… we just did what we do.. and that’s win against LCM… nothing to see here Vidor has matched up with Lumberton about 30 times and I think Lumberton has won maybe 6 or 7 of those games… This is one of the few years Vidor will play Lumberton as the underdog… hopefully Vidor can control the time of possession like they did last Friday with LCM. Lumberton is the real deal this year.

Hate to burst your bubble… but the most up to date enrollment at Vidor is 30 kids less than they had at realignment… we aren’t going anywhere. And the realignment cut line has gone UP nearly every year… hate to break it to you but you are stuck with us

Wowwwww… so this topic flew right over your head. You do realize that nearly all coaches make far less than six figures. For every head coach who makes $100k there are a dozen assistants who make teacher pay with a stipend. This is football thread but the day is in honor of all coaches across all sports. Hate that you found away to take what was meant to be a positive post for coaches and spun it to the negative about coaches… congratulations

Today is National Coaches Day… here’s to all those who are called to the profession. They could make more money in countless industries, but they chose a path that really makes a difference… maybe the keyboard warriors will take a break from beating up on them today!
