I just wish I could be at the Vidor/ PNG game. Vidor has Robi and Hester. Ought to be a great rematch. Harrington is on fire and the Vidor bats have been lighting it up lately.

Man the LCM loss was a shocker, you cannot take anyone lightly in this district.

After Friday Night: Vidor 8-2 PNG 8-2 LCM 7-3 Ned 6-4 Ozen 6-4 Ned. and Ozen have thrown themselves right into the middle of this race. Its going to be a wild finish.

Have not seen Lott pitch, but I definitely want to. He sounds like the real deal.

Great night for the Pirates. Hester gives up 1 run in the first inning and then settles down. Sims was a beast tonight. Quality game all the way around for the Pirates. Lets keep rolling.

He hasn't pitched since last Tues., has he? Sims and Hester went Friday, so I figure we go with our Ace against LCM. I know Hester is a great pitcher, but Robi has proven that he can step it up in the big games. Just my two and a half cents. ;D ;D ;D

Man you are sour over that loss last week, get over it. Your boys will have their chance to redeem themselves at the Rez. Vidor at LCM - I'll take Vidor in a close one. I see Robi putting an exclamation point on his recent success. Plus the kids are still swinging the bats well - just have to avoid the mistakes in the field.

I think you PNG people saw a good piece of baseball when yall were breaking your necks watching Hester's ball disappear into the lights. 8)

Bang Bang plays are always going to have people arguing over whether or not the ump got the call right. The bottom line is the call went PNGs way during their 2 run inning. Sims(1st Base) clearly laid the tag on the runners shoulder, but the ump had a bad angle and called the runner safe. That call set up the 2run inning, which I might add was assisted by defensive errors by Vidor. Later Vidor got the call that led to their big inning. I see the argument that the first runner to score should have been put on 3rd when play resumed, but the bottom line is when the left fielder dropped the ball he scores anyway. Hopefully all of us have been watching, coaching, or playing baseball long enough to know that close calls are going to happen. And, you are not always going to agree with the call. Defense hurt both teams. There were plenty of errors to go around. I was at the game, and personally it was one of the most exciting games I have been to in a long time. Great job by both squads.
