exactly its not the kids fault..they run the plays the coaches tell them to..and they play 100%..Silsbee coach or coaches need to be talked to..they did it last year and we are in week 2 and it already happened again..either no one talked to them last year, or they dont care who they piss off..either way its disrespectful. Football is football I understand that but these are kids..You won the game and you were the better team that day, but what do you prove running up the score??..I am no coach with lonestar. if I was there as a fan you would have had problems and you would have had an earful..the only reason you didnt last year is because I was representing VJFA..I hope this does not happen again especially from the same league..If it happens again, it will be dissappointing towards silsbee and lonestar,I firmly believe this is not what Lonestar represents.

We lost 20-0. Hard fought game just on wrong end. We played Silsbee Srs. Scored all their pts in 1st half. they scored all in first half? did yall shut them down second half or did they call the dogs off..? It was a little of us shutting them down in the 2nd and 3rd qtr but in the 4th the did run mostly 2nd team offense from what I could tell. And yes they did take a shot down the field late in the game. Don't know why but what comes around goes around and for whatever reason they didn't see it was more sportsmanship to run the clock out instead of trying to get more scores. But some people need to have a high score to make themselves feel better. WELL COMEAUX Typical Silsbee..they did that same crap to us last year in the playoffs..apparently no one is holding them accountable..Capt Claude I know you read this site hopefully you will have a talk with them as what should have happened last year. I don't have a dog in the race, but I tell you I shook the boys hands last year after the game but I refused to shake the coach's hands, because it was piss poor what they did..I been on both sides of the ball when i was up i didn't run up the score, and when i was down by ALOT I was hoping they would give me the same courtesy..I think it is disrespectful to the kids and the parents when you do crap like that.what are you trying to prove when you throw the hail mary with under 2 mintues left in the game that you are leading by twenty ,and on top of that run a reverse.?? its chicken sh#t.but I am a firm believer what goes around comes around. and before you try to say I am hiding behind a screen name..let me tell you my name Is Corey and I coach in a whole different league not even in Lonestar.if you need my number PM me and I will be glad to give it to you..I have alot of friends i care for and a whole bunch of kids I adore and it is uncalled for..you silsbee coaches whoeever called the play is cowards and have zero respect for you and your league.. thanks for the compliments moose..I was one of the coaches of the jr white. good game ,it just got away from us that second half..yall have a very good all around team..Well coached.. BC was very good hosts and the reason for the pit to be busy because there was some good food coming off of it.. I believe the flag won ,1 pee wee lost ,and the other won..The jr and sr both lost..it was about an even day for both towns..real good people over there in BC.thanks ;D

I would rather go in and play them and chances are you will get beat..But I would rather go down like that instead of the way it is now...it's not the kids fault and I feel bad for them.

You need to come in out of the rain. Moody would not have backed down without the storm. A week to prep and open the season with WOS was a tall order to begin with. 2 days work, if you could have gotten everyone together, and go into your first game is no way to start the season. I agree with Moody who's looking out for his teams best intrest, when most on here are looking for a blood bath. what was Moody and the team doing last week when everyone else was getting prepared for a game??

And really, who is the "retared" one? heck he still hasn't answered my question ..he said a BUNCH of schools has cancelled including Central and brook..the only ones that I have seen cancelled was jasper/k-ville and WOS/LCM.

I thought Central and Brook were playing?? what other schools beside K-Ville/Jasper cancelled??

another way of looking at it is it DON'T count..its not a district game so why wouldnt you want to play.. it wont count against you going to the playoffs so look at it like a scrimmage.. Get some type of work in..even if you dont want to call it a game ,call it a scrimmage ,call it what you want....what can it hurt?? and still no one has answered my question...if other schools can make it happen why cant this game be played?

My only question or comment ..is that if other schools (the majority) can play, why can't these two schools make it happen? Even if these other schools don't play either Friday or Saturday they atleast made an attempt..looks like "someONE" already without putting forth effort had there mind made up..

No, you look. No coach preps for the 1st game all fall camp, you work on it the first week or so. GET REAL!, they prep for two scrimages before they even thought about WOS. allright..then answer this..why are other schools making it happen??

Coach Hooks had me rolling..I fell out of my recliner when he said quote " we looked like a P.E. class on that one drive, but then we came back"...I rolled I was laughng so hard..

Pirates 15 Kelly 7 came down to the final couple minutes ??? excuse me 15 to 7... stop the press i missed it by one...my bad...

Good job O-Coordinator...stuck to the game plan ,was patient and it paid off in the 4th qtr.. Kelly had alot of good skill guys and Vidor's D did pretty good against them.. Kelly will win some games good size,good team speed and its hard to beat the coaching they got ..Middleton,Rabb,Long..ol ex-pirate Maddox.

thanks....all I can say is speed,speed,speed..very good host and alot of good kids on both teams...one WOS team will come up and hit you right in the mouth, and the other will spread you out and you dont know what is coming until its too late...Great job!!
