The D was suppose to be a strong point.but when you say they struggled to stop WOS thats not saying much,,..Who dont struggle to stop WOS? hwo do you think they will fair against THERE district oponents?

When I watched them last year I was VERY impressed.It was a small stadium in the older part of Houston.But I tell you those kids have talent.alot of depth in the skill position and very talented. Even though they are a private school, when you you undefeated and win the state title, then you are doing something right .

I didnt get a chance to make the game but overall how did Vidor look? how will they match up against there district oppopents?

St.Pius is the defending Private school Champs. That will be a tough test for the pirates.

Don't let the parents coach your team..I guarantee you will have one or two problem parents! Be fair with the kids,but firm and consistent..And treat all of them the same no matter if he is the star or the bench warmer.

I agree..give this kid another chance.We have all made mistakes especially at 15 years old.Alot of coaches will tell you football is not just about x's and o's,but life it self.. I would be more satisfied if I helped a young man out rather then if I had a winning football team.just my opinion though

St.Pius was impressive last year.They went 13-0.They have alot of skill guys.I know a few of them graduated, but I believe they have some coming back also.

LCM was good that year.They had Wooster's son on that team.There defense was impressive.

that is alot of receptions in a game.. the only problem with Lumberton's offense back then is when it was like 4th and 1 they couldnt get the first..they could have a big play on you quick..but when it was short yardage they couldnt get it done alot of the times..

he played around 2001-2002 season I believe.he was good..I thinkl that is the season where the QB from Lumberton set a record for most pass attempts in a game..(73)
