SFA85 "remember the Titans".."Why cant we all just get along". Maybe thats why PA is so messed people think like that. What's done is done.Whethere anyone likes it or not.If they would have chosen someone else, we would sitting here listening to people complain about that person.The bottom line is if you are a PA fan then you need to get behind the Coach,the team ,and the community right now and support them in everyway you can.The kids need that now among anyting else.

SFA why would you get on a forum and then get on to people who are just making there comments about who they think should get a coaching job? They wasn't disrespecting your school ,they were simply making a comment about who they thought would be a good coach at PA.

Vidor's field got a big facelift this year. New dugouts,fence,scoreboard.and the field is in real good shape now.They hired a guy who all he does is work on the fields all year round.

either it be Barbers Hill or Dayton we still would have had a strong team joining our district.It just makes our district more interesting.

There's been alot of talk about what everyone thinks about Dayton coming into our district.And how our teams feel about it.But what if you were Dayton's coach? You are sitting there waiting to hear the news and hoping everything works out for you and your team. And then all of a sudden you find your team will be playing with Ned.,PNG,Ozen Central,Vidor, and LCM. I think he left there scratching his head,wondering what just happened

I saw Ed Dyer on there from WO-S.He has been at WO-S for awhile.He is a good young coach.

I am on here as a fan..I give credit where credit is due.If i get whipped like Vidor does alot of the times ,that doesn't stop me from me being a fan.If we get whipped we get whipped.BUT if it is a good game then I will say we lost but it was still a good game.That's all.I am not on here to argue with anyone or make fun of anyone's school.When the playoffs are here or there is a certain southeasttexas team playing a team form out of town then i root for that team.No matter who it is.I don't want this forum to turn into a bunch of crazy talk and Insults..I will from now on ,just talk football and how much I love the sport and whatever the local topic is..

This past year Tyler lee represented Texas in Ohio .It was the same week UT played Ohio State.they said last year they were trying to make it an every eyar thing.Any word on who will represent texas this year. Tyler Lee lost.they wasnt as good this year as they was last year winning the 5A title

too bad Judge Carl Griffith isn't a high school football fan .He would just build one at Ford park no matter the cost.

Like Soulja and I have said on the MidCounty SmackAttack board, Central would've gone through MidCounty like a hot knife through butter. Just like they did on that cold night in Vidor.... And you was saying I was the one being cocky.Instead of all them stats you have time to look up maybe you should just go back and read the posts.I am sure that they adminstrator who booted you off that sight ,would have known how much it would have affected you he owuld have never done it.I hate to see that you have so much hatred built of over Vidor

Go back and read ,and where did I "bash" anyone..I believe he started it off by saying "Vidor" needed to stay in Offseason all year just to be able to compete.Thats when It got turned up a notch.

As you would go back and read I congratulated them ,and did say that they beat us.All I said was not to get too excited about that season. I don't know what you are talking about Ozen being in Mid-county.SFA wrote that they swept mid-county and ran through vidor like a hot knife through Butter.And thats when I said dont get too excited about your season. I know Vidor has not been some "powerhouse" in football/thats nto a secret.When he was saying How they are the "New Jags" and how much bragging he was doing about sweeping mid-county,thats when i reminded him about there 1-9 season a year ago.

Well ,where do I start..First and foremost I can not help what other websites banned you from saying.And it is unfair to to put me in that category of all Vidor fans. If you would read back to the first page and see that he was smashing Vidor ,and I told him not to pat himself on the back to hard that this year was only a half of a season and next year is only 7 months away.If you noticed he was bashing Mid-county and thats when I brought this up about dont get to cocky.I did not bring up "katrina" until he was saying how they whipeed up on everyone this year.And I told him to remember lats year when they were 1-9. All I said about the hurricane was it was not like a regular year where you have all week to practice and you watch film and go to your regular routine of a season.And I understand all schools were affected by this . Just because you have a beef with the operator of a different message board dont take that up with every Vidor fan that you meet..Oh and by the way New Caney wasn't a quality team? You might want to ask around on that one..I believe we one that 28-3.The other game we lost was PNG and with nine seconds left Ozen beat us.I dont mind someone being excited that there team had a good season,but why bash other teams while doing it..

It's hard to believe they they moved back when there are still kids there.We played yall in October and I guarantee those kids hadn't moved back by then.The kids that Vidor beat on a year ago was the Beaumont Central Jags of old. But thats is not the point.If you are a good team and know you are a good team then you don't have to go walking around trying to prove it to people.Ask Teams such as Nederland ,Wo-S ,PNG,Barbers Hill.You don't see them have a decent year, and then get on here and bash everyone else.. I am going to tell you like a old Coach told a teammate one time. The guy scored a TD and was jumping around like crazy..He was excited as one would.But the Old Coach came up to him and told him ,he said "Son act like you been there before"! So what I say to you SFA85. Is "Son act like you been there before".Don't go crazy because yall one 5 or 6 games this year..Act like a champion or a winner.and most of all act like you been there before.

We had alot of seniors this year.Our top receiver from the previous year did not play until the last two games.We were 3-1 before the Hurricane.Not making excuses but the hurricane did hurt us alot.Like I said in my previous post that the defensive coordinator is gone, and there will be a few more changes this coming year. But I believe the same athletes that SFA were talking about a year ago beat Central , At Central in the 4th qtr. Therefore Central's record a year ago was 1-9.Keep tryin Jags! What is Central gonna do when all the "Katrina" kids return to LA?.Maybe go back to what they was before the Hurricanes..1-9?

Well I am from Vidor ,and you guys did take it to us that night.But I wouldn't get carried away about what you would have done to mid-county.It's funny about how you talk after going 1-9 a year ago.And now you have a half of a season played this past year and you are thinking yall are some sort of Football powerhouse. Remember that alot of teams had only 3 days to prepare and yes there were games played,but it just wasn't a true ,pure football season played.Central was talented and yes they won some games,but don't pat yourself on the back too long because football season is just 7 months away.And I don't know about Central,but in Vidor there is no off season..

Barbers Hill is a first class team.They will dominate in 3A and in 4A they will be competive and have a really ,really good shot at making the playoffs.They are well coached, and they have some talented kids also.I watched them play this year and was impressed.When they played Vidor it was a good game the first 2 qtrs then after halftime they took control of the game Physically, and the Coaches made adjustments.And we didn't.

Vidor has fired there defensive coordinator and they are getting away form that option stuff they run all the time.They will be using a more balanced attack ,like nederland does.

Central was good no doubt,but lets remember there wasn't a full District schedule played either.There was alot of interruptions this year.
