1. Im graduating this year from HF and I am pulling for Mahaffey all the way.
2.
I'm pretty sure you can't play if your failing just because its spring break
Yes you can, there is something wrong with UIL rules when it comes to spring break.  We also had one starter this year who couldn't play because of grades, but he got to play during spring break.
3.
Haha either way, I hope Nederland dominates the game! PNG as well! If HF and PNG win they will be having a district reunion for sectionals. But first the two teams have to deal with their current opponents! GO 38!!
A rematch between HF and PNG would be great, but they both have very formidable opponents to worry about first. Especially HF vs. Waller.
4. What numbers were these two star players, and if they couldn't keep their grades up they didn't deserve to play anyway.
5. When Brenham played Waller how did the games play out?
6.
I think you people have not been paying attention..... I have been to several games in districts 37 and 38 and it is probably clear to anyone who has taking the time to notice that the third and forth place teams in district 37 would likely easily handle the 3rd and 4th place teams in district 38 and no-one should place a bet against Lumberton or Vidor were they to play Nederland or PNG.  I would argue that this year 37 just a-bit better than 38. :o
You should probably get some facts straight because I almost vomitted when I read this post. HF has beaten everybody in District 37 except for Vidor and Jasper, and that is only because we did not play them.  District 37 only had three 4a teams while District 38 had five 4a teams.  And for you saying that "the third and forth place teams in district 37 would likely easily handle the 3rd and 4th place teams in district 38," HF beat Livingston twice, Liberty once, and even beat Lumberton in the season opener.  District 38 is way more competitive.
7. If Lumberton comes into this game expecting an easy win, they will surely go home no longer in the playoffs.  Central has gotten alot better and I think it is possible for them to pull off an upset, and come out with a win.
8. First off I play for HF and this was a very hard fought game.  Central played very well, and so did HF.  Even though Central won HF lead most the game, and for all of this crying business none of us blame the loss on the refs.  Central won fair and square the refs didn't have much to do with the outcome.  All that matters is that we are both going to playoffs.  Good luck Central against Lumberton help us prove that district 38 was rougher than 37.
