  1. Looked a little nervous swaying back and forth. Wait till he experiences the atmosphere here, he just might fall down ;D
  2. Please don't compare the little SWC to our 4A district. No comparison. Give him time, and it will be back to the district title will go through mid county once again ;D
  3. My kids have his NDN Ken trding card. Super nice guy. I remember he had a scare at the Nederland game this year. Prayers go out to his family, and he'll be missed for sure.
  4. I wish we could have Faircloth and Garrett. I like Garrett's intensity, and he's biting at the bit to be a HC at PNG
  5. We'll see, here's my take on things and might be wrong. I think PNG is trying lure one of the outside guys that have a good resume and fit the PNG system. If it doesn't work out with any of them, then they'll contact Stump. Some many rumors and everything else, I don't know what to believe anymore. Like I said before, just bring in a good coach and let's move on.
  6. He would be a good fit for PNG, but I think his heart is somewhere else as well :-\
  7. YEAR DISTRICT W L T COACH 2007 23-AAA 5 5 0 Huey Chancellor 2006 23-AAA 8 3 0 Huey Chancellor 2005 20-AAA 9 2 0 Huey Chancellor 2004 20-AAA 7 5 0 Huey Chancellor 2003 23-AAA 13 1 0 Huey Chancellor 2002 23-AAA 13 2 0 Huey Chancellor 2001 25-AAA 12 1 0 Huey Chancellor 2000 25-AAA 7 5 0 Huey Chancellor 1999 20-AAA 8 4 0 Huey Chancellor 1998 20-AAA 6 4 0 Huey Chancellor 1997 22-AAA 3 7 0 Huey Chancellor 1996 22-AAA 6 4 0 Huey Chancellor 1995 23-AAA 6 4 0 Huey Chancellor I'm not impressed with this record at a sub par 3A school
  8. Faircloth is probably the front runner, but I think Garrett is on his heels. Don't know if Faircloth is that hyped about coming here, I do know Garrett wants it bad. Other than that I've heard Griffin's name tossed around.
  9. You can scratch this topic because they both took their name out
  10. It's a PNG thread Burbaker ??? It's time for you to go take a bath in that Nederland talent pool ;D :
  11. No actually your missing the point, because your talking about our talent level. I simply stated that in so many words that it's even with Nederlands and Lumberton. It's not that difficult to understand. Every year each team has a couple of above average ball players. MCM doesn't make one or ther other the most talented team like you think, We will agree to disagree.
  12. No what I'm saying and btw I'm keeping it real, I don't see many D-1 prospects coming out of too many schools in this area ie Nederland, PNG, Lumberton etc..
  13. Just give us a coach, all this talk and strategy is making me go crazy. Who the hell wants the job? Then tell'em to come and get this thing rolling ;D
  14. I don't care if you love them or hate them this hiring board has their hands full. Not matter which way you go your be second guessed, but will have a good coach
  15. Faircloth is one of the speakers at the Nike coach of the year conference in Dallas this week. I'm sure not all coaches get the prevlidge of speaking to group of coaches like this. This is a top notch conference
  16. The only other thing to do then is have the top five candidates have a public forum/debate for all Indian fans to watch. Then pick the winner. Hey Coop you up for it? ;D J/K We could have it at the Reservation
  17. Talk is leaning towards Vance and Faircloth Personally, I think it will be Faircloth if Vance's heart isn't set on PNG. We'll see though
  18. Don't know him, but I've heard good things. Only thing is rumblings were the community wanting somebody with no ties to PNG, to me I don't care just bring in a winner on and off the field.
  19. Why not Faircloth? Come on ex-ceauxch. Who's your five and why?
  20. He said if there was no Vance, Danaher, or Stump. Come on Coop keep up ;D
  21. I'm going to try to keep it short 1. Brandon Faircloth- Odessa Permian OC- his offense has produced more yards or second most in Permian history. That says alot. coached at Westlake and Highland Park 2. Jamie Critchlow_ OC @A&M Commerce- has HC experience at Tyler JC where the offense was ranked 8th in NJCAA, 4th in passing with a 9-9 record. Has alot of JC coaching experience. 3. David Satcher- OC @ Clear Lake HS- has a proven defense in a tough district and selected to be one of the coaches in the all star game. Also has some college coaching experience and has ties to PNG. 4. Chris Garrett- Assistant @ Duncanville HS- Young energetic coach wanting the PNG job enough to tallk with several people from the community. The only one to do so that I know of. Played for Plano HS as a player winning 2 state championships. Knows what it takes to be a winner and ex-miltary, knows about teamwork. He's coached at college level also. 5. Leonard McAngus- HC Justin Northwest- HC at Gonzales for 6 years and Justin NW for 6 years. Good HC/AD experience and currently in tough 5-5A district with Euless Trinity. Teams have been ok, his kid plays for Air Force. Seems to be a good guy, and possibly in the running behind all of the other guys.
  22. Who beat Dickinson in the regular season? You're right about the Central game and this district was very weak this year from top to bottom with my NDNS being at the bottom. The ones I mentioned before would've whipped WB, and that I promise.
