You won't go winless that's it. Heck we didn't even score in our first two games last year, but we went back to the old bread and butter and was co-champs of our district. ;D ;D That cracks me up every time.

About Livingston, does anyone know if the district is going to have option when teams play there or is it just tough **** Hopefully they will have some type of plan in place to maybe take atleast 5,000 to 6,000 fans on visitor side. Any good trees around the stadium cause next year I'm bringing my tree climbing stand ;D The problem is fitting a family five in one climbing stand

I read the sign in front of the school across from Summerwood yesterday and it said HS #6. Humble ISD site says there's going to be Fall Creek and Summerwood HS. I think Fall Creek is the Cardinals and they haven't came up with a mascot for Fall Creek.

I found out and maybe most of you already know, but in 2009 Summerwood HS and Fall Creek HS will be HS #5 and #6 in Humble. When they play varsity, that would mean Barbers Hill, Crosby, Galena Park, North Forest, Dayton, Summerwood, Fall Creek, Goose Creek Memorial, CE King, Kingwood Park, and possibly Livingston in 4A. Any ideas if they'll stay 4A or in 2 years will we get a couple in our district? Just curious.

Does your school have a football booster club? Do you think their good or bad and why? Any comments? We don't have one, but I wish we did.

Parking garage? ??? In high school? Must be a ritzy school...... They have some money, but they had to because of the lack of space. It's I think like 3 or 4 stories, but very nice. No telling the cost though.

this should be the worst year for parking. I thought I saw in the original plans (we know how they've changed a bunch) that when the old senior wing is torn down it'll be a nice sized parking lot for the stadium. The old building where they work on the buses was also going to be used for parking. So in short there is a little light at the end of the tunnel as long as those plans werent scaled back. The problem is that they have to build the new wing before they can tear down the old. This is a problem because it's taking the parking lot next to the old gym away from parking. I really don't know where people are going to park. Even when the new wing is built there isn't going to be much parking where the old wing was at. There is no space in the area and zero on the visitors side. I'm serious about a parking garage, heck why not, you would have to build one about 6 stories ;D Put on you hiking shoes this year folks becuase your gonna be doing som walking. I say park on the inside lane of Merriman from Magnolia to the high school if the district would plan that and the city wouldn't mind.

PNG, and with the construction of the new academic wing being built, cars will probably have to park at the little league. We need a parking garage like Katy Taylor ;D

It will be a good game for maybe a half, and then Dayton will pull away. Bay City has had some teams in the past, but I don't think this years team will hang with Dayton. I predict 42-14 Dayton

Big League baseball is a neat deal. I played it when I was 16 through 18. I had a blast. In the late 80's to early 90's you had South Park, EO, Amelia, West End that had big league teams in Beaumont. Also Vidor, Lumberton, Tyler County, South Jasper County, and Silsbee. Who ever won district was able to pick up players from these other teams to form an all-star team. Then you played in Houston for sectionals, and then state and onto World Series in Florida. Amelia Big League back in the early to mid 80's went to world series and placed 3rd. When I played we made it to Sectionals with Amelia, but lost to Tomball, Woodlands and Oak Ridge which were combined. You played at the area high school baseball parks, which was nice because it was all area high school baseball players. Anyways Congrats to Beaumont and hope to see ya'll going to the World Series

There's a reason why there was a law added in the last several years that cover assaults on coaches and umpire's. This has been going on for atleast 20 something years, because it went on when I was a kid in little league. It just seems that it's step up a level and we have the internet now so everybody knows when an issue arises. Heck, how many heated arguments or fights have you seen in the stands this baseball season? Every year there are issues at every baseball complex in this area as well as all over the country. It's a crazy world.
