ORWALL is always cocky even when I played. We went over there several years in all-stars and played them. The would be playing some New Kids on The Block music. We just sat back and laughed about it and then spanked that ***. Hopefully NLL 10 run rules them. -

Hey Pounce, I know one thing Lumberton tore up last year was your LM Coogs ;D -
LOL! The crime rate is kind of a reflection of that "fine" police department they have over there. I rank them right up there with Beaumont's finest. You can't blame everything on the police. That's a sore spot. If people act right then you don't have to worry about crime rates. Oldest excuse in the book, when all else fails blame your local police department. What have you done for your community lately? Just remember police are regular guys and girls just like you and I. Anyways I wish they would build it in mid county.

2 miles tops. Katy HS is in the city of Katy, all of the other HS are in the unincorporated areas of Harris County and Ft Bend County. The farthest is probably Mayde Creek or Taylor. I think thier doing it to get more money for football. They are starting on another stadium that will help Seven Lakes,Cinco Ranch, Taylor and the new high school.

Sorry machine for the late response, but I just looked on the unpage site, but I didn't get a time. I don't think they had it. The district that ORWALL is in may have the schedule, but not sure.

Humble Opening 5th school in '09

True, but I think we would end up losing Livingston next realignment and possibly pick up Dayton and BH, man wouldn't that make a interesting district. Imagine BH, Dayton, Lumberton,Central, Ozen, Vidor, LCM, PNG, Nederland Thank goodness they're going to 4 teams for the playoffs -

Josh Wright RB PNG, Christian Louis and Michael WB, Bellows and Cardenas NED, Jefferson? WR Ozen -
Well, they are building a second district stadium and a bunch of new schools. Maybe their trying offset some money issues. I paid Katy ISD school taxes for 3 years and let me tell you this area doesn't know high taxes. Try paying $6,700 a year for all taxes on a $170,000 house plus $1,000 a year for HOA dues. It's crazy. I'm glad I came back home

Because it's something to talk about, and it's possible that if Humble HS drops to 4A we could be having them in our district in the future. I said possible because we would probably get BH or Dayton or new Baytown school before we got Humble. -

I heard they were going to build another one. It's getting crazy around the suburbs of Houston. Cy-Fair ISD will eventually be the 4th largset school district in Texas by reports that I've read. -
you as a fan what do you do at halftime?

Bring my kids to the restroom, and be the Monday morning quarterback just like everybody else in the stands ;D Explain to my wife that it was a touchdown and not a homerun -
WB has been like that forever. You never heard of very many Juniors much less sophmores or freshman on the varsity roster. Most of the time the varsity consisted of all senior and maybe the most 4 or 5 juniors. It may have changed a little now. WB usually suits out 2 Fresh, 1 Soph, 1 JV, 1 Varsity always alot of players to pick from.

I wouldn't care, but why would Memorial want to play at our stadium? Ya'll getting a new stadium at it's current location and need another field for a few games? I can't make that decision either because it's beyond my control. BTW, PAM suits out 70 kids? Come on, I was just stating that Groves is part of PNG and PAISD school districts. We have citizens that pay school taxes to PAISD and therefore shuts people up that can't stand Groves or Port Neches. Also theres more than just 2 or 3 that live in Groves that plays for PAM or when it was TJ. Anyways SFA wasn't a powerhouse either. SO we'll just agree to disagree. -

It's easy to make the playoffs these days---especially in 4A but please remind me again how many playoff appearence PN-G had when they were 5A. Oh yeah, 0.... This is a silly statement because WB is the only school that has made the playoffs in 5A on yearly basis and that has been in spurts. WOS made it one year in 5A, but other than that this area is a 4A and 3A area. Sorry we couldn't have the higher enrollment so we could spank Memorial every year. It was easy to make the playoffs last year in 5A with 4 teams going, but Memorial stayed home. BTW, all of the good teams TJ had back in the day most of the good players came from Groves. Some of the better ones at Memorial come out of Amber Park and Beverly Place Apartments in Groves. The Joseph kid a couple of years ago that went to UT and got in trouble lived in Amber Park Apartments. So without Groves your PA schools couldn't hang in 2A. -

SFA85, what's up with calling us nerds and stuff like that. We could get on here and bash PA people all day long, but that doesn't happen. I don't really care what stadium we play in. Heck your stadium is only about 50 yards outside of the city limits of Groves, and did you know that 1/3 of Groves is in the Port Arthur School District. Did you know that until the end of last year that the PAISD alternative school was in Groves on 25th Street. Did you know that half of Gulfway Drive from Stadium to the old Wal-Mart is in Groves. You don't know anybody on here to start calling people internet nerds, heck your on here just as much as anyone else. If you don't like the site then go somewhere else. All of the bashing is silly, and we're neighbors. Have you forgotten that? It would be nice for a winning team to play at Memorial stadium ;D We still love you (Scalp'em) -
Good job Lumberton, now you play Nederland in the first game of the sectionals in The Woodlands.

Revised Subject: BABE RUTH BASEBALL

Understand your point and my opinion is for little league regular season, and select before your state tournaments. More players playing different positions will help your post season teams as well as assist the player individually for their future. This is all my opinion and I imagine thier are alot of them about this topic. Ask most people that played HS or College ball and they'll say the same thing about playing and understanding more than one position at an early age and it will benifit you tremendously in the future. Good luck to all of our youth baseball organizations. -

Now if the kids in little league could understand this concept. I keep telling them that if they don't believe me that they need to learn several positions if not all of them just wait till they get to high school, it will be a wake up call. I truely believe kids all the way until they reach high school need to learn several positions. When little Johnny who was the star short stop gets to high school and is beat out by someone and he doesn't know or understand the other positions, guess what little Johnny is on the bench and mommy and daddy are pissed because he was an all star all the way through little league. There's more to baseball than to be the pitcher or shortstop. That's my two cents and opinion. -
I'm curious to know how many players does your high school varsity suit out? I know it depends sometimes on what classification, but like WOS suits out like 25, but I'm not sure. Also, how many kids are in your football program from freshman to seniors? Just trying to come up with new topic. ;D

Best Team- 1982 WB Bruins ( I was in Elementary), WOS in 80's Best Game- 1991 WB vs Central WB defense held Central and Leeland Mcelroy inside WB five yard line on four downs to win the game. (I played in that one) Best Player- Several James Brown WB, Leeland Mcelroy Central, Corey Pulig Deer Park, Gerald Moore Yates, alot of others during that time period that I saw first hand that were exceptional athletes.

Good Luck to Nederland LL at Sectionals at ORWALL, you'll be facing some tough teams, but I know you can do it. Represent D32 well. Go get'em -
I'm not one of the all star coaches, but I do coach in the league. I know all of the kids and coaches on all of the teams.
