Watch for Vista Ridge, they are a new school. been around for a couple of years in the Leander/Cedar Park area. They are on thier way to 5A, they could pull it out. Anyways your right, LC has some snobs and have always been like that. They are very confident people in that area. One part is the slumbs and the other is very rich. It's a shame they have to act like that, but it's up to the coach and parents to stop that.

STJFL, I was just stating my opinion about 7 being too young for tackle. I lived in Houston and my son played at 6 years old over there and it was flag. It doesn't matter, but it was my opinion. I think your league is a good organization, but hopefully your not getting ticked at me because I said 7 is too young? Anyways hope your league has a good and injury free year.

Have to win tourney or go home for the summer. LU has to pick thier game to win this tourney. Rooting for them, but to win it will be an outside chance, but if the pitching comes around who knows.

I hope LU needs all the pitching help they can get

LSU has a young team, I seen them play earlier this year. They are getting better every week. They can swing the bats, but thier pitching isn't that good. Dishon did good the game I watched, I hope he keeps it up, great player.

Scalp'em NDNS go get'em

This isn't the topic, but talking about the campus. LU has made great strides to get the campus nice and better than the previous 20 years. The only problem I can see is there is no campus greek life (Fraternity,sorority houses), the campus also needs some college eating places surrounding the campus so the students can feel the college experience. Possibly have some variety of activities for the students besides just the new rec center. I think thier going in the right direction, but with football coming they need to step it up a notch.

I enjoy football, but to have tackle start at 7 years old is crazy. I could see maybe 9 years old, but tackle starts way too young in this league. Hopefully that will change. The weight for senior tackle should be 125 - 130 lbs, I don't what it is now. It sounds like there are some kids that need to get out of the house and exercise. If you have a kid 195 lbs and only 12 years old, you might want to bring him to a doctor.

Do you remember the Lamar National Little League team that went to Williamsport two years in a row from Richmond, Texas? The little league is in Richmond, Texas and they feed into Lamar Consolidated. I know it was just little league, but they were talented then and are still talented now. I believe a couple of them are on this team. I still think PNG takes this series as well in 3 games. Although Katy Seven Lakes is 4A, the next realignment which is next year they will be 5A. Good in sports, but better in academics. Very young school only three years old. We moved back to PNG from there. Their HS is huge and very nice. They are pulling athletes from Cinco Ranch and Katy HS when they opened. It should be a great series. Come on PNG. I think PNG takes it in three games.

I agree this was my first time to watch 7 on 7. I thought PNG Defense man handled OF. The OF QB looked like he was stuggling a little, but he did shows some positive plays. All in all I thought the NDNS did good.

I heard from a LU source that Craig Stump and Dennis Franchione are the front runners. Take it for what it's worth. I don't know why Dennis would want the LU job, but I would take him at LU.

We all want Clemens to be the good guy, but I think with steroids, possible affair, this is just the tip of the ice berg. The majority of pro athletes aren't your perfect people like everybody thinks they are. Most of the time it's kept private. Now everybody is ooing and awing over this stuff. It happens all of the time, it's just newspapers trying to make money at someones else expense. Some of this stuff is probably true and some is not. Athletes are regular people too, it's just thier held to a higher standard in the public's eye. Be your own kids role model and this stuff wouldn't appeal to so many people.
