Ozen, Central come on, everybody talks them up every year, and then they lose to mid county team or teams and get bumped from going to the playoffs.  Dayton, PNG, Nederland, Lumberton
Get out of here.  Before 2007 season, what happened to MC?  They got slammed by Central.  Don't be talking like yall 'own' us because we all know that isn't the case.  Nederland will be there.  If Dayton is gone, then maybe your Indians will be there.  You have your nerve!   ::) ::)
Actually your Jags have had the edge on us when ya'll dropped from 5A, but with all of the athletes and hype that surrounds Central every year, I would say thier a disappointment more times than not. BTW, I am a Brook graduate ;D Mark my word with four teams going my NDNS will be in the playoffs. If Dayton is still in the district, it will be Dayton and the other three.

3. Heck with four teams going to the playoffs, we ought to be in the thick of things every year.
4. Look for Katy HS to have a decline in the next 3 to 4 years when they build the 6th HS for the district in the southwest section of the district. It's going to take away alot of Katy HS students and possibly athletes.
5. They better not take away from the new schools being built or renovated, or any teacher pay raises for the future. If you don't have enough money, don't build it. This is going to upset alot of people before it's over with. I would also like to know where they are pulling the 3 million dollars from, we know it's not from the buses WITHOUT seatbelts.
6. I wonder if ex-Wildcat Frank Middleton (Linemen WB 1993) had anything to do with this. Anybody hear anything. Frank played two season for Univ of Arizona
7. I was thinking same thing. He is not by far a 1st or 2nd round pick. Possible third round.
8. My wife taught at Katy HS when they won state in like 2003 or 04 when they beat Carroll. We lived there for three years and it is a classy program. The entire area is football crazy and they turn out about 400 kids for youth football. Great program and great area, but it's not home ;D
9. 5A-I Euless Trinity (14-1) vs. Converse Judson (11-4); 2:00 Saturday, Alamodome 5A-II Pflugerville (12-3) vs. Katy (15-0); 7:00 Satuday, Alamodome 4A-II Highland Park (15-0) vs. Lake Travis (14-1); 1:30 Saturday, Waco Casey 3A-II Celina (15-0) vs. China Spring (14-1); 4:00 Saturday, Texas Stadium (Time Tentative) 2A-II Canadian (14-1) vs. Elysian Fields (14-1); 3:30 Saturday, Brownwood 1A-II Munday (14-0) vs. Bremond (12-2); 2:00 Saturday, Stephenville
10. LU needs to build a stadium with a seating capacity of 20,000 to 30,000. I'm for LU football again, but I think this size of stadium will be sufficient for small time college football. I don't think you could move the stadium because of lack of space. Even if they were to put something where the golf range is, you wouldn't have parking. You also have a large power station towards the back. I don't see them rebuilding the stadium. If they could buy up property then they could build a nice stadium with plenty of parking, just don't see it happening.
11. 4 phases with 500 beds equals 2,000. Although there are about 250 empty beds, so to be precise it's between 1,500 and 2,000. It doesn't make that big of a difference. Village at Lamar isn't owned by Lamar and it's 3 to 4 blocks away from campus. They do have the scrub apaertments at the corner of University and Florida, but that's not owned by Lamar either. There are some that live around the outsides of Lamar, but it's mostly middle eastern students that don't have much intrest in Lamar athletics or school spirit. Cardinal Village 5 is going to be built for the student athletes
12. I talked to him and he is a pitcher. I talked to several of them and I think he was the one that had tommy john surgery
13. I would say 15,000 for the first couple of years and then there would be decline to about 8,000 to 10,000. I'm for football at Lamar, but if the past is any indication how it will be then we're in trouble. Remember the Golden Gators, Bullfrogs, Wilcatters, Drillers. This area has always been a high school football area, and even that only a select few schools even fill up the stands. I want the program to succeed but I don't know if it could. I spoke with some baseball players from Lamar not too long ago and they were complaining about how boring it is around here. This is the same comments you get from the high school kids. There is no eating places around the college, no college type clubs, and lack of college activities. There's no fraternity or sorority rows, and only about 1,500 kids that live in the dorms. When you think of college campus life, you don't think about Lamar.
14. Hey one more win by both Dayton and Lumberton and guess what? I know ya'll need to take one game at a time.
15. Sorry, I was talking 4A. I remember when they didn't have any 4A or if they did it was only a few. Everybody moving to the suburbs
16. What a game by the Raiders. Ya'll played the big dogs and took'em down. Congrats from Indian Country
17. Squib kick LM, 15yd penalty LM has ball at Lumberton 28 with 6 seconds
