I wish I could go back and count all of the predictions that people had every time PNG played this year. Most everybody has pick whoever against PNG every week this year. Hopefully the kids prepare like there is no tomorrow this week and stuff Rodgers and get the W, and hopefully shut some people up for another week. Scalp'em NDNS

I hope L-Train whips LM so bad that the players stop dancing on the field before kickoffs. The dumbest thing I've ever seen is guys dancing on the field. Play football, and please L-Town bring it to them.

I think Lumberton can hang with LM. Watch the fast little RB, he is like 5'3" and you can't see him, but when he gets through the line he's gone. Other than him and the QB is decent, I wasn't impressed. This years LM team isn't a typical LM team. Lumberton wins this one in an upset 21-17

Dayton is going to wear TC out. Dayton by 10

This is going to be a tough one. If we can stop their running game hopefully we can pull this one out. I hear they are a great team, so just line up and bring it to them. Any idea where the game will be played?

I understand one week at a time, and that's for the players and coaches. The fans can look ahead and play the what if game. It was only for discussion.

I heard we're bringing up the first team offense and defense from JV, which will add an extra 22-25 kids with our 40 something?

I hope I'm wrong on this guys and I know you have to take one game at a time, but we are fans. I was looking at the brackets for all classifications. I might be wrong on a couple of games, but it's possible that all of the area teams will be done after week 2. 5A-WB would get FB Clements 4A- Dayton, Lumberton, PNG get the powerful teams from LM, Dickinson, Texas City 3A- WOS gets Giddings again 2A-EC gets Mart These are just a few and I may have overlooked a couple of teams. I'm just throwing it out there for discussion. It appears to be very tough road for all, but hopefully somebody will make a deep run. What's ya'lls comments?

In 1999 we played Stephenville for state and beat Lamarque that year ;D You must have meant another year. Mark it down Lamarque will lose to Dayton or Lumberton this year. I don't remember which one would play them in the second round, but 22-4A will take LM this year.

Since we're on this subject, last year I was personally at the basketball game at PNG when they played Dayton. The entire Dayton team walked onto the center court and stood on the mid court Indian head in a huddle and started swaying back in forth humming the war chant and cherokee. The Dayton coach sat down and watched them do it and didn't intervene. I know it was last year and a different sport, but this was my first time to see any of the Dayton sports teams. Of course I'm bias because I'm a PNG fan, but there seems to be a pattern. I thought it was a very, very classless act. Anyways, good luck to all teams in the playoffs including Dayton. I hope they do stay in the district since they've whipped us for two years, I would like to beat them before they leave.

Dayton is going to spank Crosby like they did Nederland and PNG. I haven't seen a bracket yet, but I think Dayton will whip Lamarque as well. Look for Dayton to go further in the playoffs than any of the other teams in this area.
