  1. Lumberton, there is no comparison this year to their turnaround.
  2. If all of our 22-4A teams win round 1, the round 2 games are going to be rough on all three teams
  3. I want Nederland to win because they are our mid county neighbors, but I've been rooting for Lumberton this year because they finally have a winning team and it's nice to have a school that hasn't experience a playoff in school history to be in this place. I think Lumberton has been on a roll, and Nederland has dropped a little. I know Ned has been in this position before, but I think Lumberton will be too much for them this year. Lumberton and Dayton seem to be almost the same type of team, Very balanced and after seeing what Dayton did, I think Lumberton wins this one, Sorry Nederland.
  4. The Bi-District games will be good this year mark my word
  5. I've been saying that Dayton is much improved since the Lumberton game, and now you see. Look for Dayton to be blitzing alot during this game. This may be the only answer to trying to stop Hemmings before he has a head of steam going. If you let him get going, you better bring 3 or 4 defenders or else someone's going to be feeling dizzy. If Dayton makes PNG pass, then they could run away with it. Even though PNG has improved on the passing game, short yards, it's still a work in progress. This sounds crazy, but I wouldn't play my starters the entire game, and that goes for both schools. Both are in the playoffs, and the last thing you need is an injury to someone you might need in the playoffs. I know I'm going to hear about that comment, but this game doesn't mean a whole lot, but if you get on a roll in playoffs THAT means alot.
  6. Week 10 Wisconsin @ Ohio State Wake Forest @ Virginia Michigan @ Michigan State Missouri @ Colorado Texas @ Oklahoma State LSU @ Alabama Arizona State @ Oregon Virginia Tech @ Georgia Tech South Carolina @ Arkansas Rutgers @ Connecticut
  7. No way Nederland and Vidor are that high. They would have to add like 400 people in the last two years. Maybe so, but I doubt it.
  8. I think because Barbers Hill is closer to all of our teams, even more so than Dayton.
  9. You almost got it. Every time we play there it's a close game. Good luck rest of the year. Congrats L-Town
  10. PNG fans and players buy new underwear after last nights game ;D
  11. Man, it's going to come down to week 10, this one crazy year
  12. That Ned freshman RB is good, I watched him play in a freshman game against PNG. He's going to be a good one
  13. Anything can happen in this district, I mean anything. Bring on them Jaguars now
  14. Right there, that's what I'm saying, Coach Louis was the QB when I at WB. He coached James Brown, Chip Ambres. I thought he was good coach and he didn't put up with BS. He brought Ozen to the playoffs and what does he get, his walking papers? BISD and PAISD are running neck and neck for worst district in this area hands down
  15. WRONG, I went to pear orchid from amelia to Price Elem for two years, little Brook for 1 year and back to the West End for 3 years. The funny thing is my neighbor went to Odom Middle school, and could've went to a neighborhood school Vincent middle school, but the ping pong ball said he had to be bused across town. Don't get me started on this stuff. Believe me I lived the BISD experience. I still think Thomas is over paid, and that's my opinion. low performing schools for MOST of the district, sorry but it's the truth. All high schools have an AA in Beaumont, look at all of the rest of the schools, not just high school. The last time I checked Thomas was the chief of all schools in Beaumont.
  16. I came up through BISD, and it use to be a good district. Slowly but surely and mainly after Thomas has taken over, the district is down in everything. School performance, athletics, and so on. They need to look else where for a new leader of the district. Good luck to all of the Beaumont school for the rest of the season. Hopefullt Stowers will stay because Central hasn't had much luck with anybody else.
  17. If Central looses they're out, and if Dayton looses they would be seriuosly treading water. I just don't think Central comes within two TD's of Dayton. Dayton has gotten stronger since the first district game and has made adjustments in their offense. Look for Dayton to win this one in a rout.

  19. Let's get ready to rumble ;D OC isn't scoring at all. I say you have to be over 30 and out of shape to play ;D
  20. Week 9 Boston College @ Virginia Tech South Florda @ UCONN West Virginia @ Rutgers Ohio State @ Penn State South Carolina @ Tennessee Florida @ Georgia USC @ Oregon California @ Arizona State Kansas @ Texas A&M Houston @ UTEP
  21. This will be no cake walk. Galena Park is good this year and Dickinson has an excellent team.
  22. I think ya'll need to be upset at the person who put that, but not at PNG by saying how many state titles, and so on. Heck, WOS may be beating teams in this area, but they can't win a 3A state title, so please lay off that mess. As for Mike East, it appears you stay on the PNG threads more than the Nederland threads, so yes you might ENVY us ;D For the record, WOS isn't jealous of PNG : One point though is there are alot of WOS fans that jump on here and say how they would win district in 22-4A. They might be right some years, but this isn't one of them. With all of that being said, I hope the Stangs and Ned win the rest of their games.
