Like I've already posted, bh will be the only team advance this week. There will be no 4a/5a sets teams left after round 3.

Georgetown has the size and speed to hang with SC. They just dropped to 4a after another HS opened in G-town.

Both are quality teams, but you drew the short straw and ran into very good teams first round. Happens, and now you know why BH has been one and done the last several years. BH had to face teams first round that were HOT at that time. Central Beat us and went deep, PNG beat us, and gave Manvel a good game, and Ozen beat us. I think all 3 went atleast to the 3rd round. PAM will bounce back next year.

They were scared of 19-4a and asked the UIL to move them into the HISD district so they could make the playoffs.

BTW, pre-district doesnt prepare you for the playoffs  It appears 21-5a doesn't either. ;D

Connally has 3 loses to Leander (Really good team), Georgetown (really good team), and Manor (Average team). Just by looking at it I feel Connally will win. I don't any of us know for sure how good any of those teams are over there. I'm just throwing it out there. Good Luck Ned from a "hater" ::)

That's part of what I was basing some of my thinking on. Although, after Brenham and recently Montgomery, 18-4a is average IMO. Should be some good games, But Manor beating the Bears that bad has me wondering how good Manor might be.

Those teams over there are hard to judge. I know Vista Ridge, and Cedar Park are really good. Georgetown just dropped down from 5A, and Manor, Elgin area are growing so fast out there that they are bound to have some good athletes. I'm just guessing on all of these games honestly by who they've played.

Waco, Leander, and Georgetown are the 3 loses that Manor has. Those are tough teams. Pulling for Coogs, but I think the Mustangs take this one. Sorry. 28-21

Just saying their offense has been struggling for a while. There also wasn't much throwing do to wind, although BH hardly ever throws. We started throwing a little last night against Livingston, just enough to keep them guessing. Not taking anything away from Nederland, just stating issues the Bronx have had recently.
