1. Congrats BH! Now finish it. Brenham has been in this spot the last couple of years and can bounce back. Step on their throat and take game 2. Good luck BH.

I'm moving to BH this summer after sobbering up from my 15 year purple kool aid intoxication. I didn't want my kids at Dayton because my boys have all of their teeth and there no 2 story trailer houses to fit a family of 5. Didn't pick Crosby because I would knockout the school Board, didn't pick GCM because I wanted the kids to have a good education, didn't pick Summer Creek because can't stand USC wanna be's, didn't pick Humble because of crime, didn't pick Kingwood Park because they are Kingwood HS leftovers, and didn't pick Galena Park because they don't win at anything. After alot of research, I came to the conclusion that "The Hill is the deal for real!" 8)
Since u have the BH talk down, when are you making your first BH sporting event as an Eagle?  Might I suggest one of the hottest tickets around....  The Brenham/BH series.
I would love to be at that series, BUT I have to go on Saturday to pick out all of the interior of our house with the wife and Friday my select team plays. It will probably be football season or after BH knocks the flavor out of Brenham! lol

Congrats on the new job!!!  As a parent of a HS student at BH, may I inquire as to what she will be teaching?
11th grade AP English, but it could change depending on if maybe someone else wants it inside.
My daughter just might have her next year since she'll be in 11th grade. Welcome to BH!!!  We're not as bad as I'm sure you've heard, haha!
Actually everyone I have met over there the last couple of weeks were super nice, and were more then willing to help out with information about the area and housing. The only problem is my middle son won't be able to play football in the Fall because TIFI only takes the first 25 kids that sign up. He will just have to play Fall baseball.
I didn't know that they only took 25, but then again I only have a daughter and when she 'cheered' for her cousins team, it was still Optimist out of Baytown.  So what name had you decided on?  I must admit I love to watch the Indian dance during the football games.....always a great half-time show from PN-G
I chose TradinUp BH ;D 8)
HaHa love it!!!  If you are looking for a bank in the area, I've got one for ya!  ;D  Actually we're in your current area also!
After buying the house, I may not have any money left!!! lol sounds good, which one?

 7.
TSU is going to use the Dynamo staduim?
That's what I'm being told. I figured they could just play at a HS stadium :D
 8. ok all you Eagles, we put a contract on a house in Eagle Creek!!! Hopefully that's a good location. Appears to be nice. We bought all of the boys new BH baseball hats yesterday! Two more weeks of wearing purple shirts ;D

 10. How about the new stadium in Houston built for TSU and the soccer team? It looks nice.
 11.
but seriously, are you still gonna have ties to PN-G. that alone will change things.
not really
I hear they pay really well over there too.
Yes they do and after 16 years teaching, it's really nice.

 14. My wife will be a Barbers Hill HS teacher next year. We're moving with our 3 boys to the "Hill". Guess I need to figure out a new screen name. Any ideas? This ought to be interesting.
 15. I'm going with BH if they can stay focused and close out games. Brenham has the playoff experience and the tradition. This should be one of the best matchups during thse playoffs. I say BH upsets Brenham in 3 games.
 16.
Dear 20-4A. Before you cross that Trinity River again, you better buy more kleenex.  We play real baseball over here on this side of the bridge.  ;) ;)
kind of like BH in football right?
 17.
What, really.  The man just offered up banana nut ice cream.  BH will win district 3, no doubt now.
District 3? I thought ya'll were already District 19 Champs? OOOOOOOOOOOOh, I think you meant Region 3!  ;D
 18. Still wonder why BH didn't get any votes? Beat my NDNS twice!!
 19. What happens if they play the first game and then it rains out the second and third game? Do they just go by the first game or push back game 2 and 3?
No, I can't say I remember who pitched for PNG in either of those games.  I can say that I remember who pitched in both games for BH, And it wasn't our number 1, 2 or 3 pitcher in either game.  Just wanted to make that clear to all u injuns that think yall lost against our ace when yall didn't throw your ace.. Just face it, Yall were beaten twice by BH this year !!
BH was the better team early in the season when they played for sure. Now, if they played today it would be a toss up for sure. We'll see if they get to face each other I think in the 4th round. They both have some tough teams to play first.
You have what a lot of people call the state's best district, in your way.  17-4A had 3 teams in round 3 last year, not to mention an all 17-4A regional final.  What's scary, is 2 of those 3 teams are better this year, and the other team won 17-4A.  No easy games at this point!
I agree with you. Your district is very tough in all sports. To be honest, I don't know who will be playing for the region 3 championship.
 21. We lost the DC last year. He went to the Kerrville area. All of the new coaches aren't from here, and sounds as if they are trying to get back to their home areas. That's understandable. Don't think Faircloth is leaving anytime soon if his wife gets the counselor position at the high school. The coaches we have lost have gotten head coaching positions in other places. That speaks volume about the quality coaches we have IMO.

 23. BH is the real deal. They have a really good ball club. I watched them against PNG twice this year. This should be an exciting game.
