[/quote] I agree lefty and I think that the open discussion isn't just about this season. It's the past 5 or 6 seasons. I think everyone commenting is trying to do it in a way as to not just stomp on Coach G. I think most have said that he has done great things at LU and has built a decent baseball program. The program that was built has been on a recent decline and should be evaluated as to where the team should go. I think most have respected Coach G, but my opinion and others is it's time to go.

I was impressed with BH pitcher. He wasn't over powering by any means, but he located the ball well and kept PNG off balance. NDNS didn't hit the ball hard all night. BH 3rd baseman, which I think is coaches son is a D1 prospect IMO. Kid can flat out play. BH has our number this year. I see BH going deep this year. The kid that came to pitch for BH at the was a big ol' boy!

Out of all the bats I have bought my boys over the years, IMO Marucci is what I will buy for now on. They are great to deal with as well.

Bobcat, your kids play elite and my team is select. If you feel like pitching a 12 year old that's fine with me. Whatever makes you feel better. Don't know what your deal is with me. I don't hardly know you. Never said my team was jaugernaut or elite, just a group kids wanting play baseball. I just Don't come on here complain about how I was wronged in a sporting event. BTW, we've never been scared to play OF in football or BC in baseball. Quit trying to pick arguments.

I'm not bashing anyone on here, but how about just playing baseball. Who cares if a kid 9 is playing with 8's or all of these other issues. I know it's breaking rules, but in the grand scheme of things just play baseball. Too many people getting caught up in all of the other stuff. When I was contacted by both organizations, I told them my kids just want to play baseball. I don't care about USSSA or Nations. For me and my team, as long as the kids are having fun and getting better, that's all I care about. With that said, when I seen the open tournament for this past weekend, I felt that my team wasn't ready to play other teams two levels above them and pulled my team out weeks ago. Good luck to everyone this baseball season!

Sorry, North Shore does play WB and has 2000 more students, but can't blame it on that. Memorial, Cibilo Steele, and alot of other powerhouse 5a teams compete with smaller 5a numbers. As far as 4a and 5a, look at some of the state champs and finalists, they just in 4a not too long ago. I wouldn't be surprised to see Lake Travis in the 5a finals this year.
