1.
WB has played schools with 2000 students more than WB. 4A does not face that issue.  It makes a difference. Hard to compare. As long as the alignment stays as is, WB will be div 2, which should help.
There are only 6 schools in Texas with 2000 more students then WB and they are in the Dallas area. WB hasn't played them.
2. It's better then a bunch of BH fans flapping thier arms up and down making bird noises asking when will they ever win a 4a playoff game! Lol
3. Chuck is a great guy and coach. I hope he is given the chance at WB!
4.

let him play........ The stjfl is a great league... it will survive in 2012+
So the only teams he will play with is Nederland, Koutze, Lumberton, and Vidor? I guess all will play twice, because it doesn't make sense to play ur own team. Do you know why the others left, I am skeptical to know....
Beaumont, Kountze, Lumberton, Vidor, Nederland, PNG, Little Cypress, BC, WOS, and OF are still in it as far as I know. If five left that would be horrible, but the league would still move on. Several years ago Woodville, H-J, and Mauriceville went to Lone Star. I don't know why LC and Mauriceville don't combine and also BC and OF.
5. The team only stays together for that division. Example again, 7 year old drafted to team A, stays on team A for his 8 year old year. Once the kid moves up to the next division, which would be Junior division then he goes back in the draft at 9. Whatever team drafts him, then he stays on that team his 9 and 10 year old years. When he goes to Senior tackle, then he goes in the draft again. It's not complicated and is well within the rules for multiple teams in the same organization. Not understanding your issue with this. All kids that sign up go into the draft. All teams that have multiple teams do this. Lumberton, Ned, PNG, Vidor, BC, etc..
6. Jason applied for the Atascocita job when Stump was hired.
7.
You know what IceWater..... In my heart your on the mark. But I'm just waiting on all those to jump on the bandwagon and agree with you but then turn right around and strateically draft all the young kids this year and go winless for the great hope to be like IceWater and have a Superbowl trophy collecting dust the following year. My kids haven't won a football game in 2 years because thier coach haven't had the option to strategically draft. How do you think a kids feels when they go 0-8. Ask my kids. But at least that PNG coach can tell them, Son, We have to pay our dues for Coach to get his next year, toughen upkid! What are you talking about? Since I'm only PNG that has posted on here, I assume your talking to me. We went 5-3 last year and lost our playoff game. It's just like any other sport baseball, basketball, etc.. Depending on the age of the coaches kid he is going try to draft the kids the same age. When you have multiple teams from one community, you draft and the kid for example is 9, then they are on that team until they move up to the next division! Please don't make invalid comments about our organization when you have no clue. We happen to have a good team this year, but don't fault our coaches because the two teams could've got the same kids. BTW, all three of our teams did well this year.
8. Well put Ice! Send me picture of that trophy ya'll stole from us !! Jk ;D
9. I ran out of steam the first week. When you win less games then the number of players on your basketball team, you begin took to baseball and football! ;D
10. Now ya'll trying to bang on other teams about stacking? Ya'll talking about Junior Division right? PNG had three junior teams, White 8-0, Purple 6-2, and Grey 4-4. Two of the teams made the playoffs and the third missed it by one game. I don't know why I'm arguing this, but we were far from stacking a team. Yes, White had probably the top in the division, but it was far from being stacked. Cities with multiple teams have a draft and so if you draft young the previous year then you will have a older group the following year. It's basic drafting strategy. Bmt, BC, Lumberton, Ned, and Vidor had multiple teams this year. I would bet they draft the same depending the age of the coaches sons. It's just like any other sport. You draft your team for the future. PNG peewee had a team go 0-8 and I don't know why. They may have drafted all young kids and/or the coaching was suspect. I have no clue though. When you have several teams in one division there's a chance one is going to be better then the other ie. Port Arthur flag had two teams White 5-1-1 and Black 2-4. Just the way it goes.
11. Come on Big Titan, RJ may be the reason we scored 3 TD's, but only scored 2 times against us. Once on a kickoff and one big play. We as a team held ya'll in check during that game. It takes more then one player to do that against PA or WOS. Give us a little credit. There's no doubt that eventually PA is going to get some trophies and I would love see ya'll stay. Keep us updated on what happens.
12. You PA guys are lumping a whole organization like everyone is scared of ya'll? I can't speak for the PNG organization or the high school, but my boys age group never backed down from anyone! When we were in peewee, we asked to play WOS because we felt that would show us where we needed to improve. We lost to them in a hard fought game and came back to beat them in the Super Bowl. First year of junior we asked to play WOS again and they handed a butt whipping to us, but made our kids work harder. This past year we played PA and beat them in a tough game and lost by 4 extra points to WOS in the Super Bowl. I can promise you that not all groups are scared. I have no clue on the issues with PA, but if it was up to me, heck I would allow all of Beaumont and all of PA in. I think it makes everyone better. I'm not on a board, just one of the coaches and a father. Please don't include all in one organization!
13. I would PNG to play WB, PAM, and WOS in non-district. I think it's silly to play any 19-4a teams in non district since you play them round 1 in playoffs.
14. Come on tupac, the last time I weighed 135 was in like 6th grade. Good try though.
15. Besbolbenberygud, just walk down two doors to talk.lol
16. We'll just have to agree to disagree. Ozen has been open since Stump got there and WB has done well under his direction. Ozen has done decent and had great year this year. You can't blame it all on Ozen opening. The same is true fot Stump, but he won every year! Keep using those excuses. What's Kelly have to with anything. Talking WB. Rabb is like the youth minister now at Kelly, don't follow them that much, but no way you can compare WB and Kelly.
17. Never said Rabb was a bad guy! IMO he wasn't a good coach. Doesn't mean I don't like the guy or I think he's evil. Btw, what did all of that talent that WB lost to Ozen do? If I remember not much. I think around same record WB had and that was at 4a level. I do think it hurt a bit, but don't think it was overall factor.
18. Bigred, please tell me why he was a good coach. His record speaks for itself. I was there for 4 years when Hentschel was coach. The play calling wasn't very good. I played defense so are no sour apples. Like I said, I have nothing against him and I think is a great guy, but he just wasn't a good coach. The school board probably wishes they would've picked someone else. There were other good candidates when Rabb got it. I'm surprised they let him coach that long, most coaches would be gone before going 7 years without making playoffs. Back to thread, i hope WB gets a great coach and I'm sorry to see Stump go.
19. People crack me up. First of in 1987, WB lost 1st round and in 1988 went 4-5. Hentschel 1986-1997. 91-35. Teams went to playoffs 8 of his 11 years and made it past the first round 3 times! Alot of talent during that time. Rabb 1997-2005. 25-28. Playoff first year to Quarter Finals and then no playoffs for the next 7 years! Nuff said! Stump 2005-present. 57-23. Playoffs all 7 years with 3 area and 3 Regional appearances! Rabb was a great guy, but don't make excuses for him. One of the reasons the talented Hentschel teams faultered was Rabb was the OC during that time.
20. Alex Durley was the man! All of the other coaches WB has had have under achieved in my opinion. Jerry Henschel couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. He had tons of talent during his time and couldn't make it past the first round! Rabb took over and that started the down years to be nice. Stump did have the program going in the right direction, but I think his next move will be for his kids and WB will be searching for someone like an Alex Durley, who can put all of the bs aside and win ballgames.

Looking forward to some good baseball weather. I hope the USSSA tourney in Feb has a good turn out. Looking forward to playing some local team. BTW, what te does your son play for NDN Nation???
If that was for me, I started a new team in Port Neches called Warriors Baseball. I have 1 BC kid, 2 Groves kids, and 7 Port Neches kids.
Hey Scalp'em.....my son's on the Renegades.......looking forward to finally meeting you at some point
Same here. We'll probably meet up that first tourney since we are both signed up for the 2/18. Looking forward to it.
Maybe you guys would like to scrimmage us this month or next month, let me know both our kids can use that to get ready
We will start practicing Jan. 3rd. Let me get the kids together for about a week and I'll call you that second week of January.

24. Several different reasons in my opinion. Texas has seen continued population growth during the last decade to the point that all of your metro area are exploding with new schools. The majority of the new schools are 4a and 5a. Those schools are being built in affluent areas where you have alot of ex-college and pro football players moving thier families. These areas have everything you can think of to make kids better at whatever sport your talking about and it doesn't hurt that the majority of them come from good stock already. You are going to continue to see the population boom and schools opening every year for years to come. Our area has been losing population for years, even before the hurricanes and continues today to decay. We as a whole do well in this area, but in the end, it will take a special team to get to the championship. If we have teams going 3+ rounds in football, that should mark a very good year. There are some more Houston area schools coming on line the next couple of years with varsity programs. I know Ft Bend Ridge Point, Tomball Memorial, George Ranch from Lamar Consolidated ISD, a new Katy HS in two years to name a few.
