Its all about me, me, and my kid and the politics that go with it. Starts with the school board on down. We win at all the lower levels but when they get to school athletics, its over. We had our opportunity to build on things in 07 & 08 but look how long it lasted. Having a winning program (football) does so much for your community. I hope Vidor can sustain this longer than Lumberton was able! [/quote] Actually, I think it was great what Lumberton did those years and I hope that Vidor can sustain the winning they are doing. It's great to see the district like this where you really don't know who's going to win every Friday. I think it's sad to see Lumberton fall the way they have since those two good years. Hopefully the community can find a way to jump start things again. The politics are in every community.

Explain what ya'll call whinning? Just curious because I think every school is represented on this board and they all whine. PNG, huh, we are the biggest in most cases, but whinners have to go to Vidor, Lumberton, Nederland, Livingston, LCM, Central, and Ozen. We don't whine at PNG, we just QUESTION!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D

Ozen didn't impress me at all. Jones was the whole offense for Ozen. PNG should've scored more points. Overall, a good team win tonight!

Nederland Black and Beaumont Blue I think play. The winner most likely will be the 4th seed from that division. It's a toss up for me because I don't know much about them.

Keep an eye on Cy Ranch! Young school already doing good. Cy Falls as well.
