Vidor fans keep jumping threads talking trash? Ozen isn't any better then Livingston or Nederland. Both of those games the NDNs were in till the end. It will be a good game, but I think the NDNS pull it out at home 35-28.

Kelly? Kelly? You would think they were the second coming of Lake Travis!!! Guys it's just a poll. If you picked the team that would win head to head, most of the time it would be our two 5A schools and then 4A with a couple of 3A's put into the mix. Just like what has already been said, it's who's playing the best at thier classification. That's why it's so hard in non district games to rank these teams because a 3A like WOS playing Nederland and Friendswood and then maybe another 3A team playing two other 3A teams. How do you rank them? WOS that lost two very close games ahead of the other 3A team that beat two teams in thier class or go the other way. Kelly is the 5th best high school football team in Beaumont. Are you happy now? ;D 8) SMH while stirring the pot. 8)

Don't know about Senior teams enough to comment, but at the Junior level if it's going to happen, it would be second round of playoffs or the Superbowl.

If Ned and Livingston win out, then it will be PNG, Ozen, Vidor, LCM trying to get 3 and 4th spots. Which means head to head games are huge!!!! Afraid Central and Lumberton will be out.

Ya'll need to do stats for district games. Pre-district doesn't give you the right stats because of who each team plays whether 5A,4A, good or bad teams. Just use district stats. I don't have it by the way. I do know if you use points for and against in district that Livingston is #1, Ozen #2, and then the rest after that.

Birddog [/quote] It's hard to do since I grew up a Beaumont boy, but they brainwashed me down here ;D The only reason I put the sixth team is because Purple played WOS close and only lost 21-14. In the end, there are 4 teams really and that's us, WOS, Lum-W, and Bmt-G. That's the truth and there's not a whole lot that seperates any of the four teams. This is one of those years where there isn't one jaugernaut team. I will say that this 10 year old group for PN-W is 21-4 the last 3 years and has a chance to be 27-4 at the end of the year! ;D 8) Good Luck to All teams

Field Possession was huge in this game. How many times did PNG start inside the 20 yard line. Another big factor is our QB held on to the ball way too long most of the night. Nederland was the better team tonight. Also, just an observation, but if you gamble on 4th and less then a yard (Which I'm not totally against) put the QB under center and get the easy first down! If you run out of the shotgun and try to get the first, you have to run like 5 yards to get less then one yard and the O-Line was getting whipped all night. I scratched my head on several offensive play calls tonight. We didn't take advantage of Nederland's so so offensive showing as well. Oh well, Good luck to both the rest of the year.

Nederland schools are the only area schools that you go to that still have dirt floors and box fans in the classrooms. I guess they do that so they can feel at home while in school! ;D ;D
