I dont play well with Jaguars, I see they were trying to burn down the Westside of PA the other night by saying they was shooting fireworks. That was probably a Brook fan shooting them fireworks ;D :D

Good job Jasper!!! I think our area will be very well represented at Sectionals in The Woodlands with Jasper D12 and Nederland D32. Good luck to both teams and I feel one of the two will be moving on to Tyler!!!

Nederland is still playing by the way. They play ya'll tomorrow. I've already said it's a sad deal/ My kid isn't on that team. I thought it was handled wrong by a number of people. I still don't think we would be having this conversation if it was told to our league when the President (her words) at the beginning of this baseball season. It was asked by two different people from our board to the DA from Bridge City and they said that he could play up and still be eligible for 12 year old all-stars period. Like I said before, I think I would've gotten a firm answer from Williamsport instead of the District Administrator. It's over and time to move on. Good luck to Groves 12's and scalp'em!!!

I'm going off of what the President of our league told Me and was backed up by several other people including a President of another league. Why do you not disqualify them right then? Your story stinks and doesn't make sense. Good try! after the Nederland game, no game played because BC refused to play! Scared of one kid?lol What a joke. It was all about the pitching situation. I'm glad they're making y'all play a game before getting to Groves.

If the President don't and asked the Ad, at that time or at certification, they should've said what the rule was and move on. BC just held on to that Ace until they needed to use it. BTW, nobody in the district spoke up and it was a rule until a day before the second BC game.

That's why our senior league should have thier own seperate board and President IMO. What a mess. Too bad that kid and parents weren't told that at registration time.

[/quote] I think the problem is that he wasn't on the 11-12 tear old roster, but he was on the 13/14 year old roster that is also part of LL. He is a true 12 year old, but played in a higher division. Our league President got the ok from the DA of D32 and there were no issues. They are all from BC and hopefully there wasn't any hidden agenda. It's a learning experience and hopefully in the future if there is an issue, it's taken up with Williamsport instead of the local guys which have shown not to make a good judgement call. Now those 12's from PN get hosed. Bad deal.

Now, take this for what it's worth, but now PN and BC play each other for the right to play Groves and the issue is brought up? Also by suspending the game, BC's top pitcher will be eligible to pitch as the game has been delayed a day or two. I'm getting that from our side. Don't know about the other side of it. ::)

[/quote]i think you are talking about the junior division (13-14) not seniors (15-16). the break between 12 and 13 isn't the same as 9-12. a 13 yr old CAN'T play down with the 12's in other words. i don't have a current green book to look this up, but i hope it works out for the kid. there are definitely some odd rules in the book. it's very wordy, but they are trying their best to be as fair as possible. [/quote] I understand that, but the kid is a legit 12 year old. He's not playing down. He played up during the regular season. I don't know the rule on it. It's an interesting issue.

I'm just wondering how it's different from a kid that let's say is 10 years old and in the league 9's and 10's play together. The kid decides to play in the 11/12 year old division, but when all-stars comes around, he is picked on the 10 year old all-star team. Senior league is considered a division of little league just like minor to major in the lower divisions. It will be interesting to see the results from Williamsport.

In the late 80's and early 90's Kelly didn't recruit and they had some good teams. I think they won one championship or played in a couple of state championships.

BC contested it, and they suspended last nights game until an official ruling from Williamsport. Senior league is still part of little league. The kid is really good and played up. I think he should be able to play IMO.
