Not so fast Scalp'em... Might have a little harder time this year than last..
You have Vidor, FHWS, Port Arthur, Bridge City, Nederland, Groves, and Port Neches. PN and BC battled last year, but neither could beat Nederland. Now you have Vidor and FHWS and I have no clue what they bring. I do know Vidor has had some good select teams the last couple of years, but I don't know if they play LL. Clueless about FHWS. Also, BCLL has a kid that didn't play LL last year that is playing this year which is going to make them tougher. We'll just have to see.
You talking about that lefty that BCLL picked up that didn't play last year. Yea, he's quick as lighting. Oh, and he's a Bobcat to top it off.
Quick ;D Dang good bat and strong arm
 2. Perkins had a horrible series. He didn't hustle most of the time to get back on defense, he wouldn't go after a rebound by leaving his feet, etc.. I know he's a hometown boy, but I wasn't impressed with his play and I think it hurt OKC. The thing that I did see him do good was set screens and picks.

 5.
Yes, I have made simular staments in the past. The thing that I want to most impress on parents and players is, if a kid has the GOD given talent and abilty to play the game of baseball then there is no need to go to a person who only benifits from that tallent for profit. Only few kids are given that kind of tallent. There is no reason for a high skilled baseball player that has that kind of tallent to pay someone else to gain the glorry for his hard work. Please be honest, most highly skilled baseball players have a gift given from above and will move on to college or pro baseball because of that. I truely do like both of the instructors mentioned here and want nothing but the best for them but, is it always the best for the kid and their team?
Someone needs an English tutor ;D It would need to be free though, because I wouldn't want 78stang to say they were making money off of him :D
 6. That was just for 9 and 10 year old all-stars!Brutal
 7. Congrats to all! Congrats to Brevell for turning the Tribe around! No doubt the team rised above and finished strong. Scalp'em
 8. Awesome, thank goodness we already picked! 2 hours to pick an all-star team ::)
 9. The elementary idea is good, but I would have two K-5 campuses. I've brought that up for our district by having PN with one and Groves with one. The schools would be like 1000 kids, but if you build it like the some of the suburb districts around Houston, the kindergarten kids never see the 5th grade kids because they are in wings. I think Ned and PNG would benefit from this because newer and less buildings equals lower maintenance costs and operations costs. You just have to be willing to draft the right bond and show where it helps the district in the long term. Think about it this way, if you build new schools now, you won't have to worry about them for another 50 years.
 10. I see, it says co-newcomer  ??? Can you see the stirring going on?
 11.
Here we go ;D
Question, if it says newcomer, then why is there more then one person listed? Why is there five outfielders when three are on the field? On pitchers, who determines how many pitchers is first team? There's some more questions that I'm thinking of ;D :D
 12.
Provost is committed to North Central Texas.  Much deserved and a really good program.  Coaches are great and always sending their kids to top D1 programs.
Good deal, Thanks!

Tonight should be another barn burner. As for as Brandon Prevost our catcher, no doubt he's a hustler and I hope he and others from this team get some looks atleast from JC schools.
Brandon Provost has already committed to a JC
Which one?  First I've heard of that.

 15. Ya'll sound scared to me. It will all be over after game 2! The secret weapon is being used ;D

Hopefully that knucklehead group of umps don't call the rest of the series. There were several bad calls in the field and behind home plate. Ump behind the plate wouldn't give Stone corners for nothing, the play at second was a joke with nobody making the call, and there was a runner trying to get back to first that was hosed by Provost that was called safe. Can someone also let the NDN staff know not to throw a curveball on a 1-2 count when the Brenham batters are behind the fastball. Both times for a HR. If a hitter is swinging after the ball is in the catchers glove, please throw the gas and sit him down, not the duece. First time, I've seen a ump tell a team to get back in the dugout when the team that scored a run go out and congradulate the runner. My rant is over and I'm happy the NDNS pulled one out. Also, I've never seen so many foul balls by one team (Brenham) in a game.
The bad calls went both ways...  I too hope we don't see these umps again.  Again, congrats Indians.  Yall showed heart.  A lot teams would have curled up and died after trailing the #1 team in the state 5-0, halfway through the game.
The only call that I remember that went against ya'll was the play at first base where the catcher threw down and I think our guy was out. The other play at first was tie goes to the runner ;D Did you hear when I told the ump that he dropped his blue bell ice cream out of his pocket! :D ;D

 18. Seriously, I think BH will battle for the top spot this year. They have alot returning if I remember right.

 20. I agree that having the injuries doesn't help, but I watched some of the earlier games in the year, and they didn't impress me. They were an average team, but I don't think they would've been a top 3 team.  As a fan, I think it's time for a change, but I imagine there are others that disagree. I appreciate what Gilligan has done for the program, but it's time for new blood. I just didn't see the fire and intensity from this years team like past years teams in the 90's. This seems to be an ongoing issue for the last couple of years. I know Gilligan got them to the regionals last year, but this program has been declining overall.
 21. Conference standings and conference records 1. Texas State  20-7   2. Stephen F. Austin  17-10   3. Sam Houston State  16-11   4. Southeastern Louisiana  15-12   5. Texas A&M Corpus Christi  14-13   6. UT Arlington  13-14   7. UTSA  13-14   8. McNeese State  12-15 9. Nicholls State  12-15   10. Lamar  11-16   11. Central Arkansas  10-17   12. Northwestern State  9-18   Doesn't look good for the home team, but with six games left, they might be able to squeeze into the tourney.
 22. ANYONE HEAR ANY NOISE? The Hill is for real  ??? ::) again and again and again and again, year after year after year after year, only to lose out to a 20-4A team first round ;D :D
