Got to get that first district win before talking about playoffs!
We beat ya'll in the playoffs every year in all sports for the most part. What else do you want. ;D
 2.

PN-G will be fine as long as they can find some leadership. That's all they lack.
I agree and get the errors down.  The district race is far from over.... Doesn't 20-4a takes 4 teams into the playoffs?
Yup. 4 teams go and as of the looks of it the cocky PNG is 0-3? uh oh. Sounds like Stone isnt lights out this year. couple hits off the wall doesnt sound to stellar.
Still mad over the 12-0 thumping ya'll we're handed by PNG?
 3. So far, I have Ned, LCM, Liv, and Vidor making the playoffs. This could change in a matter of a week.
 4. Ouch  :o Have to find a way to win! Doesn't matter how close it is, a L is a L. Too many and the NDNS will be sitting home this Spring.
 5.

The loss to unranked Liv hurt them in the rankings IMO.
At the end of it I still thinks LCM, NED, and PNG will still be 3 of the top teams in the area.
Those three are in the same district, so they get to beat up on each other and that's not including Livingston, Vidor, and even Lumberton. Name a 3A district or other 4A and 5A district in this area that has that much depth? These teams will knock each other around the rankings the whole year.
 6.
I understand everyones points but I just to take a minute to give a shout out to J'Covan Brown. He has silenced critic after critic including me. I think everyone on this and this area thought he would never make it at Texas. Most of that brought on by himself because of his attitude problems but the kid has made something of himself! He has not only made it at Texas but when it mattered most and the Horns season on the line they put the ball in his hands. He led them all the way back and they would not have made it this far without him. I just want to congratulate the local guy on a job well done. Keep working hard JB!
Didn't he miss the winning shot at the end ?;) J/K he had a heck of a game and next year he should be starter every game. He's usually money in pressure situations.
 7.
People from PN-G and Ned. both were boasting about being #1.I have very good friends from both places. This statement was not for anyone in particular.I just think it is just a good wake up call  for some folks.I realize it is very early in district and one of them may truly be the #1 team in this district. It just appears to me you sure hear it alot more from these two places than you do anywhere else. This is gonna be a great season for this district. It may be a little tougher than some people thought.lol.I really dont think it is the players making these comments at all. BTW, I am a die hard LC-M baseball fan!
still early in district there Bear fan. Congrats beating that jaugernaut Ozen team. PNG got beat by two quality teams so far. We'll see what happens. There is any 4 to five teams that could win district this year. I haven't seen any posts where PNG fans were boasting ??? Maybe they picked the NDNS to come in first, but not boasting.
 8.
Which one will be in more trouble Friday?
Wow, one or two district games and your throwing them out? Stick to watching little league baseball!
 9.
Anderson has been our best pitcher thus far.
gotcha, thanks. I wasn't trying to question the coach, but was curious. Thanks again, I'll have to walk a couple doors down and congradulate Mr. Anderson.
 10. Curious why coach wouldn't have Stone ready for Nederland and someone else throwing against Livingston? This has nothing to do with loss or Stone. Just curious why the toation wasn't set up for him to throw against the Dogs. ???
 11.
Wait A&M will play Notes Dame not UT... but third game for Texas is the defending National Champions Duke!!!
Your right, my bad. That's worse to draw Duke in 3rd game. You would think that Texas would've gotten a weaker #1 side of bracket in the tourney. I guess they're play at the end of the season excluding the Big 12 tourney hurt them.
 12. Got to catch a couple of LU games this weekend. The team looked good and my boys enjoyed the games. Keep up the good work Cards!
 13. The Tigers are off to a 15-1 start, including a 3 game sweep of Cal State Fullerton. LSU looks be strong again this year! Geaux Tigers
 14. I think Texas should've been at worse a 3 seed and A & M a 5 seed. The Texas schools got the shaft on seeding. Texas has to play ND second game if both win. Crazy for a second round and I'm not a Longhorn fan.
 15.
WBB is 23-5 on the season. I have been really following them since our MBB sucks so bad. Maybe you should do the same? Honestly, I didn't know if I would like watching WBB when I first started going to them after Coach Tidwell was hired but it is pretty entertaining.
Your right, I probably should've said baseball and basketball mainly. I'll give football a couple more years. My concern is that our programs seem to be heading down (except WBB) the last 4 or so years. I looked at the pre-season ISR (Strength ratings) for college baseball and LU is 8th in SLC behind UT-Arlington, TX St, UTSA, SHU, TAMCC, SELA, and McNeese. We are scheduling people like TSU ranked 276, Prairie View 270, Akron 172,New Mexico St 119. I understand you need a couple of games to observe your rotations and some other position players for conference, but heck when your losing to teams like TSU doesn't help the confidence of the fans, players, etc. I think Rice, Miss St, and even San Fransisco isn't bad, but we need a little better teams before conference starts. This came up last year and I got blasted for questioning the schedule. Just thinking out loud ;D
 16. Package deal Roc and Gilligan. Losing to TSU is ridiculous! I'll catch heat for it, but LU isn't competing in any sport right now. It ticks me off to no end.
 17. I was told by some LSU buddies that SE LA. has a good team this year. They gave LSU fits for a while just the other day. I commend them on scheduling tough teams.hint, hint  This comes up evey year with LU Baseball.
 18.
Add 4 more goals to Natalie Hagar's 22!  26 for the Year and Counting..
Congrats to my neighbor, great athlete.
 19.
Kyle Gilliam was the first player taken, AAW. Just curious why a center was taken first?
It starts with the snap of the ball ;D ;D ;D
 20.

1. DC Stallworth-Silsbee 2. Garrett Gustafson-HJ 3. Kristian Smith-Central 4. Darrin Sells-Woodville 5. Prentice Lane-Silsbee 6. Shawn Prudhomme-HJ 7. Zay McDaniel-Kountze 8. Dionte Forney-Nederland 9.. David Green-Ozen 10.. Brennan Doty-PNG 11. George Whittacre-Spurger 12. Hunter Gonzales-LCM Is all I can come up with lol
Maybe not in that order, but i agree for the most part.
Forney isn't even close to being the best player on Nederland. There is another big guy for Ned that's better then him and several PG or PF that are better.
 21.
C'mon...you're telling me nobody wants to witness Roc's LAST GAME AS A COACH AT THE MONTAGNE????
Uh, nobody cares. I don't want them either. ;)
 22. Bye Bye! Let's get him out of here, and get someone to get us back on the winning track!
 23. Quality win for LU. Rice lost 2 of 3 from Stanford, but the Cardinal is usually a baseball powerhouse. 02/18/11 vs. Stanford Reckling Park L, 5-3 02/19/11 vs. Stanford Reckling Park W, 7-1 02/20/11 vs. Stanford Reckling Park L, 6-2 02/22/11 vs. Lamar Reckling Park L, 7-12 02/23/11 at Texas State San Marcos W, 11-10
 24. Why is Silsbee playing in this tourney? Not knocking any of the teams, but Silsbee has always had some strong baseball teams. I would've though they would be playing in a tougher tourney. Just curious.
 25. The triangle already putting it on 19-4A ;D Is Crosby suppose to be good?
