And if you want to watch a playoff team, come to Newton. We'll even let you touch the three State Championship Monuments, (So you'll know what they look like.) :roll:

CC is undefeated. It's Newton's homecoming. The stands will be full. Right now, this looks like it may be our toughest district game. Time to add to our 2A win streak. One loss since moving to 2A. By 3 points in the 2004 state championship game. :shock: We have to hold on to the ball. Go Eagles. People may not know where we are, but they know who we are. :idea:

Seems to me that OF was even better than KV AT Jasper. KV needs to stop talking and get back to playing.

After the Carthage game, I can't see Kirbyville in it. Notice, I didn't say I was pulling for WOS. I just think it's too much for K'ville to handle. :roll: Good luck Wildcats.

Woodville had a bad game against a bad team. Now that district is about to start, I think that they'll come out of it. 8)

Unlike some teams, we pick good teams for predistrict to tune up, work out the bugs and try to better ourselves. We keep getting better. And notice these are all 3A teams. We may get beat, but we aren't going there with that in mind. This is a young team, getting better each week, and the fans will be there to support them. And after this week, it's 2A time. Counting this year, Newton hasn't lost but 1 game to a 2A team in three years. Tnat was by 3 points to Boyd in the state finals in 2004. The Eagles will be ready again this year. :idea:

Aw come on now. Out of 219 schools in 2A, DV only has the 217 weakest schedule. :roll:
