i am not stopping him from coaching his team (just posting my opinion), the best chance they had for a district champioship was to throw hester. Just like aggies said in another thread, save him for liv the 2nd time around if needed be

So if u dont have a happy hester who can respect his coaches decision, u have a below average team. By not throwing hester last night to start the game, it was basically saying to his other pitchers that he has no faith in them to beat liv., and no faith in hester that he could shut down ned. , the way bellow shut down vidor

[/quote] If that is why he didnt start him, then that is good by him, but He wasnt to worried at png about his arm , when he let him throw well over 100 pitches that night. I believe he let him throw rt at 135

this game gets ugly without hester on the mound, look for ned to ten run rule vidor. I wonder what hester parents think about hester maybe not starting. I bet they are not going to be very happy when he doesnt start

sorry to be misunderstood, i didnt mean to sound like they would win distrct. I just think that throwing hester is vidor's only chance to even come close to win district. Without hester on the mound, they dont have much of a chance agaist the other top pitchers, their bats just arent  strong enough, give or take a few  hitters. That is why hester is their only chance verus the png, and nederland's. When he pitches, they can win a 1 or 2 run game, could lose by 1 or 2, or could be ten run ruled. But they will not ten run rule the ned or png's, becuase their bats just cant handle those pitchers.  

even if malone only stayed 3-4 years, it would be well worth it. Just to get the program going in the rt direction. Winning just breds winning.

The first way is for district champs, the 2nd way is to make the playoffs, when they take 4 out of 8 teams including ( central and ozen ) who are a little down this year
