Vidor should do whatever Bay City did to them on defense. From what I understand, Bay City has fallen a long way from when they were making those long playoff runs (including beating Nederland) in the early 2000s.

I don't know the situation but if they wanted to save his job then they should have won more games. From all accounts, Flanigan is a good guy. It seems like they could have achieved more on the football field. Sometimes there have to be unpopular decisions to move forward. I know a team in the SETX area (not naming names) that has talent but always underachieves and the coach comes back year after year because he is beloved by the part of the community that matters. I wish both Coach Flanigan and Crosby the best of luck in this situation.

LU would have been better off hiring Craig Stump or Kenith Pope, who both applied for the job when Woodard got it. Both have exeprience coaching on the Division I level while Woodard has Class A, arena football, NFL Europe and JUCO coaching experience.

It's nice to reward a team like Kirbyville who is clearly better in Week 10 than they were in Week 0 with a playoff spot. I don't see anything wrong with it. It gives teams a reason to keep fighting despite being down early in the year

If the Ozen coaching staff is bad then what does that say about Livingston? Ozen came from behind so that means a BISD coaching staff made better halftime adjustments than Livingston did.
