You're right!  I was being conservative. However, I have seen the program that PNG is GROWING...bringing in players who are looking for a better education.  I can't argue with that.  However, I saw one of them Tues night. WOW! Didn't anyone notice the size difference between the lines...what the heck is in the Png water????

Great Win, Proud of our Dogs!!! What a quality program we have!  Have to say how much it impressed me with the 12 and CB painted on the field. I hope their,12 & CB, love for the game and way they lived their lives is what drive us on for the rest of the year! This is a lot to build on!!! Impressive QB, and of course 9!!!  WOW!   I liked the intensity from everyone I saw tonight.  Great JOB!!!!

The better team won tonight!  Great Job Dogs! I agree about PNG fans,  why were they exiting in the 4 QTR?  Was it the long drive home?  I have not seen them do that before??? My favorite excuse for Png losses....is....drum roll, please...... "we just ran out of time."   Like I said before game, Dogs would win....and I will say this again, I call 3 out of the next 5 years wins for the DOGS in MCM!!! Bring it on!!!!  DOGS!!!

Those little guys have it together and are waiting for the chance, no, TURN, on the BIG stage.  NED, as I have said before, has a lot to look forward to in the next several years.  I don't see a PNG victory over NED probably 3 out of the 5 next seasons.  Knod goes to SR QB, always has. REBUILDING years are apart of High School football.  That's a fact.  GO DOGS!

All bets are off for this one... Nederland will take this one, that's my call. In the past few years, that I have watched this game, I have seen NED teams that should have rolled over PNG, lose.  I have seen wonderful kickers (boast about making the winning FG before the game) to only miss it WIDE RIGHT, and lose the game on their home field.  You just can't measure who's better for this one, it doesn't matter. However, we will miss stomping on the p & w endzone.  Its so pretty!!!!  IMO, Do wish the district would move this game to the last in the season.  Go Dogs!

This happened several years ago with the QB situation in Ned...I was at the game in Port Arthur when the fans were yelling for a Sophomore QB to take the reigns...does anyone remember Neumann saying that once his Senior QB was well - that he always would give the knod to the Senior QB? That decision worked out well.  If anyone remembers? This kid who thought that he could disrespect the coach, his high school, and his football team doesn't belong in Nederland. IMO, I thought the letter in the paper was an embarrasment.  He has a right to his opinion, I know.

That's what I thought.  You did say you pay Nederland ISD Taxes, however, you could live in Port Neches.  Probably don't have anyone attending NISD, either. Nederland has a lot to be proud of on their fields.  These are kids playing a game. None of them get paid.  They work longer days than you do at work.   Keep your negativity to yourself.  Just a thought? I support Nederland Athletics. Go Dogs!

I agree RRider....Football, it is. Smitty, you pulled my quote,but didn't answer my question...do you have players on the field in Nederland playing Football? I can read English and you haven't said anything positive about Nederland in your posts.  Makes me question your true intent on this board.  Tear apart the Nederland Football Program right down to the middle schools.  I won't stand for it. That is why I posted on here.  Nederland has more talent coming down the road and I personally am excited to see where it takes us. Don't bash our coaches, either.  They do a fine job. Enough Said. something else...down the road... maybe some company in Beaumont Area could sponsor making 112% rubbery bracelet, maybe in WOS blue to represent Reggie's legacy... money raised go to family or scholarship in his honor.... just a thought...

something simple...everyone can do this...players, fans, everyone Hold 1 (your index) on left hand and 2 fingers (peace sign) on other. Maybe do this for every touchdown, no matter who scores.  At the beginning of game.   Spread the 12..sign...in tribute to an amazing athlete, human being who's legacy will be bigger than football.
