I think that Katy should be higher because they went for a three-time State title last year. Yeah, they lost but even Brenham, who lost in the State title game, is higher then Katy.

I know this has nothing to do with SETX, but GO MULESHOE!! The only reason I say that is because I have family in Muleshoe. My two cousins who lived there both played on their football team, with one of them being on the championship team in 2008.

At least Dayton is the highest 19-4A school in the rankings, with Crosby a distant 39th.  :)

I can remember sitting up there with the band and thinking no way and all of a sudden on side went wild...talk about the intensity.

Depending on what way you go, it may be a little more because going on the backroads, it takes about 2.5-3 hours from Dayton.

At least the U.S. had a good run. Heard they lost to Ghana last year with the same score 2-1.

I would have to say Coach Jerry Stewart from Dayton. He has brought the Broncos a long way from when he first came to Dayton.

The Texas Ball Brats are a group that forms a 16U team in SE Texas. I am just a friend of one of the players, but from what I can find, here is this year's list of team members and where they are from: Tarkington-                          New Caney-                       Dayton- Destiny Kennedy                   Sadie Evans                       Brittney Morrison Hannah Jackson                    Cassie Smith Chelsea Burns                       Jessica Perkins Shelbi Chambers Shannon Green Kendra Caswell Megan Noel As for the coaches, I am not sure. They are going to the National Competition this year in Colorado and also won the 8th Annual Fun In The Sun tournament at Pedigo Park in Livingston last year.

No the Ball Brats attended a tournament in Deer Park this weekend.

They are from South East Texas as well. There is one member from Dayton, and the rest are from Cleveland, Tarkington, and New Caney.

I was just starting a thread for the Texas Ball Brats. There are tons of threads on the GT Shockers and other teams, but not one for the Ball Brats.

I just started this thread to see if anyone has heard of the Texas Ball Brats on here? The reason I ask is that I have only seen one instance of them and that was back in 2008. Y'all do know that they are one of the Colorado bound teams, right?
