  1. PIERCE RHODES - Kirbyville Over 2,100 yards total offense (1,526 rushing) 26 Total TDs (23 rushing)
  2. The 21-3A Rushing and Scoring Champ is back.
  3. Good for him. Did he not have the grades or scores to qualify for NCAA scholly at this point?
  4. That's interesting. I didn't know Alvarez had coached at Jasper. Maybe that's who they should go and get. If he wins at Kirbyville, just think how he'd really win at Jasper with better athletes!
  5. There is no reason Jasper shouldn't be able to beat on any given year, up or down in talent, the following teams from their district: Orangefield Hamshire-Fannett Hardin-Jefferson Bridge City So, who's left: WOS, Kirbyville, Silsbee Jasper has good enough talent year in and year out to beat at least one of those three teams left to make the playoffs. Tell me where I'm wrong.
  6. Oh, there are still athletes and linemen in Jasper.
  7. What's going down in Jasper? Who are the early candidates for the head coaching job?
  8. Is this still just "talk" or does Lamar actually have a timetable of bringing back the state's (and America's) top sport?
  9. It's typical Bridge City "look at us" mentality. They're trying to act like this is a bigger deal than Jerry Jones and the Cowboys looking for a new coach.
  10. Snuka would love to SuperFly on model #13, Miss Leyla Milani! www.leylamilani.com SuperFly is definitely TAKING the DEAL!
  11. Kevin Lane - Kirbyville - Pitching Coach One of the top all-time pitchers from Lamar University. He does more with less, every year. He won the Class A State Championship in Colmesneil a few years ago.
  12. My 11 year old girl will be signing up for softball. We're from Mauriceville. The cost is only 10 dollars? Wow!
  13. Earl Thomas is the superstar player in the district, no doubt. But check out the junior RB from Kirbyville: Pierce "The Duece" Rhodes has 147 carries for 1,418 yds and 22 TD. He is the District 21-3A Rushing Champion. I believe he may be the scoring champion of District 21-3A also. Pierce scored 164 points. (22 rush TD, 3 receiving TD, and seven 2-point conversions). Pierce is also a three-way player ~ starts on all special teams, offense and defense. He HAD to play QB against WOS which is why his numbers were down that game. He's not a QB, but he's a pure slashing type running back. The sophomore QB Aaron Hazlewood also had a career regular season. He only started and played in 9 games. He had to sit out the WOS game. Here's his impressive rookie numbers: Aaron Hazlewood, Kirbyville was 63-116-9 for 1,454 yards and 10 Touchdowns which also includes a RECORD 99 yard TD pass versus Liberty.
  14. West Orange in a blowout over Liberty running the same old plays! Silsbee handily over Splendora running their same old plays! Kirbvyille routs Coldspring while running their same old plays! That is a fact. 21-3A is the dominant district! But you still have to play the games.
  15. Wildcats 51 Trojans 13 500 yards offense for the Cats!
  16. Pierce Rhodes, junior from Kirbvyille, has some nice stats after nine games: 131 carries for 1,345 yds 21 TD (149 yds/game) 10 catches for 263 yds 2 TD Scoring 152 Points
  17. Come on Elgin! The gig is up! Everyone knows who you are.
  18. You have written negative comments in other posts about Kirbyville's head coach. You don't represent Kirbyville. You're just some goofy ex-player fan who thinks he knows, but the reality is you really don't know. You are an embarrassment to Kirbyville in this Forum.
  19. KvilleBalla does not represent the "real" Kirbyville Wildcats. Everyone in Kirbyville knows who the "balla" is and that he is a "never-was-been" of a high school football player. He has posted bad things about his former head coach which is about as "chicken $#!@ as a person can get. His incorrect spellings and poor use of the English language also speak volumes about this "never-was-been." KvilleBalla we don't need you. Go Wildcats!
  20. Does the new manager get to bring Barry Zito and Houston Street?
  21. You're right. Rhodes will rest Friday night. He'll only touch the ball 25 times instead of 30. He'll be resting in the fourth quarter. KHS 45 HF 13 Hamshire will score one more point than Bridge City.
  22. Our JV players play as Varisty players on Friday nights and our freshmen players play as JV players on Thursday nights. This is a down year for Kirbyville and look what they're doing. And what terrible conditions were you talking about? Rain? In Southeast Texas? Rain? Cancel because of rain? You're kidding, right? Anyway, good luck against Hamshire-Fannett this week. You guys should dominate them, huh? I mean you guys are still Bridge City and they're just Hamshire-Fannett.
  23. Bridge City Fans Loyalty looked worth about 2 cents the other night Kicker.
  24. What's that sound? What's that noise I hear? Oh, it's Bridge City basketballs, Thumping loud and clear! ~ SuperflySnuka
