Blaysin and his boys had a great game, RJ! Congrats!
-
Roschon is a beast. Best player on the field by far, but the better TEAM won and Monte decisively outcoached Faircloth. Roschon is all heart but will be really sore in the morning. Ned secondary did a great job on Riggs. He wasn’t a factor at all. Great TEAM win!

Was responding to Soulja’s statement earlier in the thread.

Was he eligible for the Super Secret Spring Game?
-
Wanna bet?

If Ned can hold Roschon Under 125 on the ground and limit Riggs to 1 TD, then it should come down to the wire. If those two go off, then it’ll be a long night for us. There always seems to be an “unsung” hero in these MCM games though. Ned needs to be balanced and patient on offense and get a few stops on D to be there at the end. Hoping for a great game! PN-G is the deserved favorite in the game, but that doesn’t always mean a win in MCM!

Let’s not get carried away. I think overall this years team is probably better due to Superman playing QB, but Harmon is a much better RB than anything PNG has this year and I’d take the ‘09 defense over this years version. With that being said, I think this years team would beat the ‘09 team, but they aren’t better in ALL phases in my opinion.

It’s all about matchups. I hope he’s right, but did they have much of a chance last year?

Ned will be HUGE Memorial fans when they play Vidor. If Vidor wins that game, Central wins out( they will) and Ned loses to PNG, then the Dogs would be out... If Ned beats Lumberton and PAM beats Vidor, I think the Dogs are in unless I’m missing something.

It was a very LATE offer I think. I think he probably got frustrated with the whole process and decided not to play. Ironically, only two D1 colleges offered LU’s Kade Harrington as well, LU and SELA. He finished 2nd two years ago in the Heisman equivalent for FCS.
-
This reminds me a lot of Colton Kimler several years back. I was scratching my head as to why he had no offers. Nice sized safety, good speed, and and absolute ball hawk that was always in on the play and not afraid to hit you in the mouth... Still swear he would have started in LU’s secondary for sure!

After seeing both teams play at Bulldog Stadium, I have no idea how Ozen beat Baytown Lee. I will take Lumberton by 21 or more.
-
Good game, Jags! Had a feeling the first team to 21 would win! Sounds like I missed a good one!

Defensive struggle?

Who scored for Ned?
-
I’m not taking anything away at all. He stated 300 more yards, I stated 40 more carries. He’s a very good back.
-
And 40 more carries than anyone else...
-
OK... I will be the one to do it. Give me the Titans by 3. They play great defense and have a helluva kicker. I’m not sold on the Indians defense. Keitha and Hines gonna have great games here.
-
Surely you won’t be wrong on this game 7 years in a row. You are definitely DUE! I kid, I kid! Here’s to an injury free and hard fought game! I think it’ll be a close one. Unfortunately, I will be in Dallas and can’t make it to the game.
-
I’m thinking this will be low scoring. First team to 21 wins...
-
I don’t think PNG will score 35 on that D. They may win, but I don’t think they get to 35.

He plays very little RB. He’s lined up out wide 95 percent of the time. #3 plays more of the role that Krautz did.
