I'm calling it now. 17 is our QB. Neumann had a rabbit up his hat. Who is he?

Ned scored on a long td run by Simmons in controlled portion. CE King has not moved the ball at all so far

PN-G band been in the stands since 11am. Atmosphere is electric...

Vidor typically scrimmages well. They usually go toe to toe with WO-S. The teams normally drift opposite directions once the season starts though.

Lots of people will be overreacting to how great or terrible their team looks in the first scrimmage. Take a deep breath... It's just a scrimmage!

We have the POTENTIAL to be unstoppable on offense. I'm not saying a peep until I see how the stocks in duct tape are going to pay off..lol
we hear this EVERY year. Y'all always have a GOOD offense. But, c'mon UNSTOPPABLE?

Anyone know where Reed Lawrence went? Saw that BE put new coach from central middle school as D Line coach
He is no longer coaching. I think he got a job in some sort of outside sales.

Just read we lost Jaekoby Sonnier as well. He moved to Sulphur due to a death in the family. Three big contributors gone. Not a good start for my Dogs. Next man up!

I first reported this on May 21. It was my understanding the suspensions for both Mayfield and Johnson had nothing to do with football and that both had a chance to come back after the summer.
I have not talked to Coach Neumann about this issue since May.
Hate to hear this. These are significant losses for the Dogs...

Any idea who the front runners will be to start at QB for Nederland this season? I assume Simmons and Nguyen will be in the backfield. Perkins, Fisher, Johnson, Garrett, and a Mayfield give experience returning at WR and i've heard the line should be pretty solid....
I'm ready for football season to be here!
I talked to a former coach on the staff a few weeks ago and he indicated that Mayfield was the front runner last he had heard. Also said the offense would be more similar to what we ran with Sage Seay at QB if that was the case. We are deep at WR and RB and you even forgot to mention the very talented Leleux who played fullback last year and was our 2nd leading rusher behind Krautz! Ned has a big experienced OLine and will be just fine regardless of who the QB is. I think it'll be Mayfield and I think he will have a very good season. Also, remember this name ... Wistner... I think he will shine on defense for the Dogs this season. Played quite a bit as a soph last year and brings a ton of intensity!

#21, #28, #13 will all be in the backfield mix next year. They all 3 made some great plays this year.
-
Ridge Point and George Ranch in the same district? GR impressed the hell out of me last night. Nobody we have played had the kind of speed I saw last night.
