Nederland hangs in til they lose the coin toss then it's all downhill from there. Too many horses(Coogs) gettin' off that visitors bus Friday night to make this one close. 65-7 final.

Both teams look bad but Livingston looks way worse ! Livingston is going to have a long year
Ned looked bad?! The QB threw for 400 plus in 3 quarters.. The RBs ran well and the D shut Livingston down. You are right, one team did look bad, but not both. Livingston won't win many games this year. Ned will have their work cut out for them starting this week.

Let's see, the 3 preseason games. Baytown Lee, GCM, and either Vidor or Ozen, not sure which of the last two as they both seem to have our number sometimes even when they are down. Not sure if we'll make post season this year but if we do it'll be through all four of the above teams as well as shocker against two that we sometimes sneak up on, namely Nederland and Central. We'll never go undefeated unless someone can convince our boys that PNG is just another team, they have the psychological advantage over the entire district. Just wish we could build that kind of tradition.
PNG has a psychological edge against the whole district? That's interesting. Coulda fooled Larry Neumann...

Did the transfer from Goose Creek get hurt last year? He was very impressive early in the season and then I noticed these other 2 were dominating the carries the rest of the year.

Word is that there have been multiple interviews this past week. They have successfully kept things really quiet. I am guessing that we wil hear something in the next few weeks.

We were a 35 point underdog from what I remember reading from some posters on this board, on the road, with a severely hobbled QB. Squeezing out a win is probably better than blowing a double digit halftime lead and getting shut out in 2nd half...Should be an asterisk... isn't it ironic that our two beat offensive weapons were seriously injured while at the bottom of the pile... but that's another story. .
And you still had to squeeze out a victory on a 4th and goal play...- Proud Dawg and Bigdog

This coaching staff won't let that happen they've been there done it before. We had 12 kids sick or hurt and all kind of other issues, heck one went to ER after the game so we've faced adversity head on and doubters before so they can bring on all the hype they want, we'll be ready. Crosby also has only trailed I think twice all year so ( Dayton and King) correct me if I'm wrong, if we jump out early watch out. This team is playing some inspired football and what a ride. CC TAKEOVER of the greatest capital in the world is upon us!! #CodeRed!'
Trailed most of the first half against Nederland in week 0, but that doesn't matter. We are playing hoops 😜. I am extremely impressed with this run by Crosby. Y'all are peaking at the right time and a totally different team now than the one I saw. Keep it going and shock the world!- Footballer06 and liltex

Crosby is as good as advertised. The better team certainly win the game. Super proud of the Bulldogs effort tonight. It was a really good ballgame. A few things that stood out:
1. Crosby has a stable of backs that can all go...
2. Crosby is extremely physical on both sides of the ball...
3. Reports of Big Neds demise are GREATLY exaggerated....
4. Austin Krautz is gonna have a big year all over the field...
5. Who is #12 for Ned? Played a great game
6. Ned QB is gonna be just fine...
7. Ned defense is small, but scrappy...
8. Crosby is loaded with athletes...
9. I hope these teams keep playing each other...
10. #10 for Ned might be the go-to WR after he gets a few games under his belt.
Great first game for both teams. So glad football season is back! Next week, a big 'ol Jax BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger on Jalapeño bun and a trip to Dayton!
