1. Enjoyed watching y'all play tonight! Y'all were much more physical than Crosby and won the battles on both lines. No turnovers! Great job. It was fun to watch and y'all had great fan support. Vidor had so many great performers tonight and most will be back next season. Y'all have a lot to be proud of! Let's go 20-4a! Hope my Dogs can follow suit tomorrow night.
2. I will be there to support vidor as well tonight!
3.
1. NEVER claimed to be the "favorite". That is an assumption on your part. Just trying to point out that  GCM is NOT  a 20 pt underdog. 2. Temper my mouthiness? Since Ned is your daddy, I assume you are speaking from experience.  Daddy's gonna get angry! 3. Just keep telling yourselves that GCM can't win. Sounds more  and more that you're trying to convience  yourselves that it can't happen.  (it can.) You are right anything can happen. I think it is safe to say you were unimpressed with Nederland when we beat y'all by 18 in September. That's fair enough, quite frankly I was unimpressed with our play that night too. What I like about this Ned team is that we have hung our hat on defense and field position most of the season and have been clutch when the game is on the line. 4th quarter wins vs. PNG and Vidor and even showed they can win a shootout against a game Ozen squad. This is not a flashy team by any means, but a fundamentally sound team in all aspects that fights hard for 4 quarters. We have won 90 percent of our games playing this way. GCM has shown flashes this season and won 40 percent of their games. You can have the flash. My guess is that you will again be unimpressed with the Bulldogs but left wondering how they are playing again next week and y'all aren't. I think Ned will win this game, probably not a blowout, but a win. But, you are right... Anything can happen.
4.
I think loss number 3 was a keeper. You would not even be the best team in our district.
Likewise for your Patsies in 20-4a.. How did yalls game vs last place LCM turn out? You guys have several good players, but I am failing to see why you think y'all are the favorite in this game...
5.
Yes, please use the BH game as a  measuring stick for GCM.
Which of your SIX losses would you prefer us to use as the measuring stick? Or should we just wait for the SEVENTH?
6. LCM also beat GCM so I am not sure why it was brought up... Ned led LCM 21-0 when starters were pulled.
7. What happened in the sept 2 game is irrelevant. Nederland beat goose creek by 17 and did not play very well. I have no doubt that both teams are greatly improved. Should be a fun game.
8. Looks like mine too, but I am also gonna go watch Beaumont Kelly before heading to PNG/Dayton game...
9. What about LU Saturday? I say Ned 24 GCM 17.
10. Ned freshmen were up 41-12 over LCM early in 3q when I passed by.
11. What classification are trey green, tony brown, jakobi jones, and the wr Michael? These guys were very impressive this past week.
12. PearOrchard, You guys only need a win vs. Lumberton, a PNG win vs. Central, and a Vidor win over Livingston. The first two should happen for sure. The Livingston vs. Vidor game should be very close. Great game tonight, the Panthers came to play. They were by far the best offense we have seen all year.
13. It wasn't easy.. Ozen brought it tonight. Best offense we faced all season in my opinion... They ran, they threw, and had speed to burn. Luckily, they could not stop us either. Good win Dogs!
14. Ozens speed and dual threat QB really gave us fits. The little running back is very good and Ozen has some good looking WRs. Our tackling this evening was uncharacteristically poor. Our defense was not what it normally is, but the Ozen offense thT we saw tonight was by far the best offense we have faced. It is the first team that we have played that cN run, throw, and has speed. Great job by our offense! They bailed us out tonight. I thought we had iced the game with 7 min left up by 17 but those Ozen boys did not quit. Great win and a great district championship! Way to go Dogs! Keep it rolling!
15. There are a few guys on the team that have strep as well and could miss... Glad we have already punched our playoff ticket!
16. It was a Halloween trick, raider girl... the Lumberton fans were dressed up like empty seats!
17. Since Ned is already in the playoffs, then lots of other teams will be pulling for them this week(namely Png, Vidor, and Livingston). This should be a good ballgame. I think Ozen is the most dangerous team in the district on any given night and could pose problems for the Dogs. They should be extremely focused with their playoff lives on the line. I think the Dogs will be up to the task at home though and one step closer to that outright undefeated DC!
18. Just curious... Did Ozen have a chance to punch one more score in at the end of the game? Did they take a knee or just get denied. It could come down to a point differential later on... Just wondering..
19. I hate to break yalls hearts, but it ain't 5 teams fighting for 4 spots. It is 4 teams fighting for 3 spots. Nederland is IN. The worst they can finish is 5-2 in a 5 way tie for 1st place. In that scenario, the worst point differential they could have would be a +2 and that would assume an 18 point loss to Ozen. (+3 vs. Png, +3 vs. Vidor, +14 vs. Livingston, and assuming a -18 vs. Ozen = +2.)  Even if Ozen wins out and beats Ned by 18 points, the best they finish is -6. (-18 vs png, -7 vs. Vidor, +1 vs. Livingston, and assuming +18 vs. Ned=-6) In any other scenario, including Vidor winning out and being district champs if Ned loses out, there would be a team out of those 5 with 3 losses, thus putting Big Ned in the playoffs since the worst they cAn finish is 5-2. Anyone see it any differently?
20.
Congrats Ned on the win.  I was shocked that the score wasn't much higher in this game.
Ned got off to a slow start dropping a td pass, missing a long fg, then having a punt deflect of the helmet of a blocker. The first quarter was over quickly and scoreless. After that, we scored nearly every time we had the ball before putting the backups in late. Lumberton seemed to be there to run the clock and not give up 50 points. They ran the same play over and over. Another great showing by our D.
